An honest scalper?
Something of an oxymoron, don't you think?

There are a few. The thing you really have to watch out for is forged tickets! People get to their seats only to find out the tickets are fake.

That's my greatest fear. Especially with those Ebay sellers who just sell you a .pdf of the ticket.

I had an honest scalper at a SYW show. I ended up with 3rd row seats for face value. And the lady even walked me up to the gate to make sure I got through.

Ya I know, I remember at the Rock a Little concert, Two woman came late,
They clame I was in their seat, I know my tickets were real, because I purchase
them from TicketTron , Now ticketmaster. It was in the middle of the show.
so I wasn't going to aurgue with them, so I just let them sit there and I move a couple seats down.the girls must of had bad tickets, I enjoyed the show as always , and the girls did too.At the FM Behind the Mask I got good scalped tickets at faced price.I will be watching very closely, I won't take any fasttickets printed from somebodies computer.

This happend to me at a Dead show in Philly. Except we didn't get through the gate. Luckily, back in the day it was almost as much fun to hang in the parking lot than it was to go in to see the show. That was the summer Jerry died though. :(

If you don't find anything on Ticketmaster the day of the show then I would check at the box office window the day of ths show. There is almost always some kind of ticket available a few hours before the show. It might actually be a decent seat, too.
I bought a ticket package but I have no idea where the seat is located. They say that it is in the first 15 rows but I am hoping that it is in the first 5 rows.

Still no luck.couple of days before the show,Still geting this Bullcrap on ticketmaster site.

Ticketmaster

Your request Is not available

There were no tickets available that matched your request

There are several things you can try:

* Change the quantity of tickets you are requesting.
* If you selected a specific seat section, try switching to "Best Available".
* If you are unable to find tickets, be sure to check back often. As the date of the event nears, often times a limited number of tickets may be released.
* If you entered a promotional code, check that the code is valid for the ticket price and criteria you selected.

I am sure that there will be something available at the box office the afternoon or evening of the show.

This morning around 7am local time some tix popped up on ticketmaster, Sec 1 row AA and Section 2 rows X and V. Right now they are showing sold out again but I intend to keep checking all day long until they pull down the tickets at 3 pm. Good Luck fellow New Englanders!!

I got Tickets

I Got tickets, thanks for the help guys. I got there early to check the box office, they were soldout, so I hang around in the front enterance for maybe a hour ,no scalpers here yet. there were 100's of people looking for tickets.so I went back to my car to pickup some stuff, on the way back, there were 3 ticket scalpers there in front of the parkinglot. I went over to see what they have for seats. and cost, he says, section 2 row 13, for a buck 50, I said wow,For Stevie yes, ok . Quick though, I had a choice ,get it or sit in the parkinglot for 2 hours and miss Stevie. so I grab it and got in, Trey was in the middle of his set.tonight I learn a lesson, get the darn tickets early.
