So.

Hi.

Long time, no see.

Bored. Thought I would say hi......

I have a week off this month. Who needs a visitor?

catinthedark 06-09-2006 10:21 PM

HEY!!!!!! :wavey: :wavey:

i've missed you around here... haven't been around much myself. but it's not the same without you.

what have you been up to?

funny they're doing petty play-by-play on the other page. one of the most fun nights i ever had here was the minute-by-minute night with you the first time stevie played vegas.

and then it got really old.

AliceLover 06-09-2006 10:25 PM

Hi Curtis. :wavey:

Johnny Stew 06-09-2006 10:28 PM

Good to see you, Curtie... you've been missed. :xoxo:

ontheEdgeof17 06-09-2006 10:30 PM

I'm just over Stevie. She bores me.

I think you've burned yourself out with all of those concerts you went to, Curtie!

I can't believe you said that. You. :distress:

Anyways, who cares? I'll fly over and hang out. But only if you do karaoke with me, and wear a cute thrift store shirt.

I went to three. (EDIT: four)

Nothing really interest me at the moment anyway. I have a lot of family problems....work problems....relationships problems. All I wanna do is sleep.

On the 'Gold Dust Tour,' right? But I was also thinking of the shows you went to on the 'Say You Will Tour.' Or does it still add up to only three? :o

I'm really sorry to hear that, sweetie. It actually sounds like you might be in the grip of some pretty deep depression -- having a total lack of interest in the things that usually bring you joy, is a pretty big sign of that.

Make sure you take really good care of yourself, ok? And PM me if you'd like to talk. :xoxo:

jannieC 06-10-2006 08:20 AM

Hi, Curtis. :wavey:

I've missed your posts. I have a guest room- come see me if you want (Greensboro).

You do sound depressed. Ditto what JOhnny Stew said- please take care of yourself. :xoxo:

strandinthewind 06-10-2006 08:38 AM

Oh Curtis, I am sorry to hear this. It does seem as everyone is kind of having a rough time lately with this thing called life. Don't you wish that there were some kind of instruction booklet for it all? Of course if there were in would be in Chinese or something. :D

Sleeping all the time is not very good. Do you have a hobby that you enjoy doing? Maybe you could pursue that and it might make you feel a bit better.

I don't know but I certainly hope that things get better for you. :xoxo:

Sahara 06-10-2006 10:07 AM

I don't know you well but I do know the feeling ....

Good luck with it all :wavey:

All clear! :xoxo:

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes....It's been a crazy summer so far.
I am heading to day shift at my job soon....Thank goodness because night shift (7p-7a) is kicking my ass. I'm off the weekend program, too! yay.

As for my family, my sis has cervical cancer and my mom might have Breast Ca. It's a little rough there....but things will look up, I'm hoping.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that most everyone here has been touched by cancer in some way or another, I know I have. we are here for you.

DrummerDeanna 06-12-2006 09:33 AM

Curtis - so sorry to hear about your sister and mom - and I second what Jazzy said, we've all been touched in some way by that horrible disease - and you've got a lot of people here who care about you - so just holler if you need anything!

GypsySorcerer 06-12-2006 11:12 AM

Good to see you, Curtis. :wavey:

I am so sorry to hear about your mom and sister. I'll be thinking of you all. I hope things get better for you soon. :xoxo:

I can understand what you're going through with a loved-one having cancer.

It can be trying but ya have to have faith and be encouraging to your family members (Which I knew ya already know since yer also a nurse as is my Deb)...Just hang in there, ya have yer Ledgie family members in yer corner.

SuzeQuze 06-12-2006 01:04 PM

Hey Curtis, I'm also sorry to hear about your sister and mom. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. It's a crappy disease but try to stay positive, things will work out. It's good to hear your schedule is going to normalize too, I've heard that the night shift does a real number on people's mood, like you needed me to tell you that. Nice to see you on. :xoxo:
