Stevie Nicks Appearances
Fans attending the first eight shows of the Highway Companion tour are in for a special treat. We are happy to confirm that Stevie Nicks will join the tour for its first eight shows -- from the June 9 show at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C. through the June 21 show at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Mass.

Stevie will perform a selection of songs with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers during these shows.

Of course, I can't get to ANY of the first 8 shows (stupid Darien Lake is way at the end, stupid Buffalo, stupid stupid stupid, grrrrr......) but I will once again patiently await for bootlegs to show up. :angel:

This is incredible news. Insider, Strand? I honestly don't know if I dare to hope. I don't know if I could handle the letdown if it doesn't happen. Same for Needles & Pins, oh my lord. So I'm going to assume they'll do SDMHA and maybe The Apartment Song or perhaps Free Fallin and be happy when that actually happens, rather than dream the impossible dream & never recover when it's shattered.

Yay!! I'm excited. I was already going to see Petty in Mansfield anyway. :thumbsup:

Who knows what they will do. If the Two Voices tour was any indication, then she will sing on a few of his songs and they will duet and then cover a song. Who knows though. I can't make it to any of the shows, but I look forward to the boots. AND - thank goodness it is in the Northeast as our fav. bootlegger lives there!!!!!!!!!

As an aside - this is a Petty tour and she is doing a guest spot. So, I think she will do maybe three songs. But and again, this is all speculation and I am frenzied with anticipation!

Wow, what fantastic news, just when I read this morning that some people were talking about Stevie not doing any more!!!! You lucky things who live in the States and can go.

The thought of Stevie retireing before coming back to the UK - oh no!!!!

I need new friends. My friend in Boston has made it pretty clear he won't go to a Tom Petty concert, not even for me. :mad:

He is willing to hang out in a hotel lobby with me around midnight to watch Stevie come through. Question is will she be staying at the Four Seasons or the new Ritz Carlton.

I'm excited that Stevie's playing with Tom since they are two of my favorite artists but they need to come to California!!

They absolutely need to do Insider. That would be amazing.

I'm really surprised she is doing these early dates. Awesome. I don't think I can resist going to Charlotte since it is close to me and the opening night. Insider would indeed be incredible, but at least we know they'll do SDMHA, and I've never seen Petty do it, so...cool enough for me.

Not at all, this one's worth shelling out money imo. I'm now trying to squeeze in the MSG show between my work trip in DC and my vacation in Boston since my damn friend won't take me to Mansfield.

Good for you! I love a passionate fan. Believe me I've done some crazy **** for Stevie over the last few years. Like last summer when I drove all the way from Minneapolis to Tampa overnight with no stops to get there.:laugh: The I ended up goin all the way to California with the Texas and Red Rocks shows in between. Aye!
