Hi I´m new here and so far this seems to be a nice and friendly place!:blob2:

I actually found this pic on my pc but it´s quite big (2.25mb) and I found that you can´t upload pic´s that big here. It´s a screenshot taken from the Rumours dvd (I think..) and I just love that picture. In fact I love almost EVERY pic of John, he always looks so vulnerable in a way!:xoxo:

The first time that pic appeared (as far as I know) was on the VH1 Behind the Music thing, wasn't it? I always assumed maybe it was provided by John (or I guess Chris) to be included in that portion where they are discussing the splits. That is such a beautiful picture. I wonder what year that was from....i'd guess anywhere from 1973-75.

No, that was in the Rumours Classic Album DVD...maybe it was in the Behind The Music special too, I'm not sure. Here's a bigger, slightly better quality version of the picture, courtesy of Brandon who posted some great screen caps in the Chris forum a while back.

There are a couple of photos of people in windows (John and Mick, Judy with a penguin) in the Rumours LP gatefold insert. Maybe an expert on window frames could match them up? :^)

I would guess at 1970-1973 though.

I thought her hair was a bit more bowlish in the earlier seventies. :p It got longer and more fluttery around 1973. That's how I made my estimate. but who knows.

I think they were actually standing in a doorway in the original shot on the Classic Album show, too, or like the back of a truck or something...? But I like how the photographer was shooting upwards, makes a cool photo. It also always makes me think of how Chris always said they often were like 'siamese twins'-- they look pretty 'attached' here. ;) such a sweet picture; it exudes love.

I would have loved nothing more than to make them larger, but alas AGAIN, I had to keep shrinking them down until they fit. Many had to be shrunk .02 kb to make the cut. unreal. HOW DOOOOOOOO you guys get these ginormous pics on the board?!?!?!!?!:shrug:

...don´t know why they´re so small though.. I uploaded them to Photobucket and then did the copy and paste thing but that obviously didn´t help, so what am I doing wrong? I mean these pics were over 1MB to start with!:confused:

Yeah I have to agree with you on that one, and I love the Rumours era look too. It´s a huge difference though!:D I actually watched the "Tango in the night" dvd last night and I just can´t believe how good he looks in white!:xoxo: (we definately need a drooling smilie here)
