A Day in the Garden - HAEWAFY

Does anyone know why Stevie was so emotional and crying and overcome during the performance of "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?" at A Day in the Garden back in 1998?

I just watched the video again and was wondering was the deal was.

Did her arms look fat? Because I hear that really upsets her.

I think she was emotional because she was performing at Woodstock -- which she had said was always a dream of hers.

At least that's my guess.

Yeah, that's what I'd guess too. Her emotions go the best of her in that song. The poets, priests of nothing part conjured up all those performers at the original Woodstock.

I remember it supposedly had something to do with LB - maybe he got married at that time or had a kid around then.

I think he went backstage at Woodstock & kicked her, thus resulting in tears flowing during her encore.

Or I think maybe Lindsey was sitting in the front row & pulling his jacket up over his shoulders in a grotesque imitation of her Rhiannon dance, & this upset her & made her cry.

And she loved that tour. She said throughout that whole show, how this was the last time she was going to get to do it and wanted to do it again.

YOU WOULD BE CORRECT SIR!
Stevie said it was a dream of hers to do it since she missed the original!

 I just look forward to the time when Stevie looks back at the time she wrote That Made Me Stronger, and is inspired to write something even better, commemorating the writing of TMMS.

and as for amber's comment about the fat arms... it isn't funny. Having fat-looking arms is a serious medical condition.

The rhiannon-dance parody making her her cry is funny too :D You guys funny.
