Oh dear Keith Richards is in the wars..he's landed himself in an NZ hospital after falling out of a palm tree in Fiji..:rolleyes: silly beggar, what was he doing there in the first place? Apparantly he and Ronny Wood were climbing (maybe they were racing!!) and he fell off. Got himself concussed a bit. Hope he's ok... but I do admit, it gave me a bit of a chuckle reading it on the news.

I had a chuckle to myself as well :lol: but seriously, I hope he is okay. I heard that he is staying in a Remuera hospital (Remuera is one of the most expensive/prestigious places in Auckland) so he is in good hands.

The image of Keith and Ronny climbing a tree for coconuts makes me laugh out loud. :nod: :lol:

As much as I love Keith, I laughed for about two minutes when I heard this story. What's even funnier, though, is that this isn't even close to being the weirdest thing to happen to him.

Oh really? I actually thought he'd be at the local corner clinic.:lol:

Toxicology tests found the beach was suffering from mild alcohol poisoning and was kept in hospital overnight. The tree was released without treatment. :)

Seriously, he is in what I call perma tweak mode in that he could get off of everything for a year and if he did not die from the shock, he'd still be tweaked :laugh:

Oh good grief..looks like he's going to have to have surgery now as he's suffered a bit of a brain hemmorage :( ...I'm not giggling anymore, I hope he's going to be ok

He's still got a headache so they have looked at it and there seems to be some minor bleeding from the brain. As a precaution they are going to drill inside his head to relieve the pressure and let the blood dissolve. He should be fine.

I wonder if they will strike lucky when they drill Keiths head? It might solve the current oil crisis if they find an oilfield in there! :lol:
