What are you eating/drinking?

Hayley, I just had one of those Trader Joe's El Greko pizzas and you were not lying, the thing was to die for, yum! Now I have to go to the gym.

So what are y'all consuming?

Sahara 03-04-2006 05:14 PM

bikerchic 03-04-2006 05:18 PM

I just got back from 90 minutes of weights at 24-Hour Fitness. I wish some of those sweaters would wipe down the damn equipment after they're done.

Right now, I'm having a sockeye salmon & skin sandwich on whole wheat bread with French herb mustard & raw spinach epaulets. I need something to drink, though.

After lunch, it's bowel movement time & shower! The rest of the afternoon will be spent with my Beethoven piano sonata lectures from The Teaching Co. & my Schirmer scores.

Wow, you sound like a hoot :woohoo:

Livia 03-04-2006 06:33 PM

Today - coffee, OJ, breakfast burrito in a spinach herb wrap (eggs, a mix of cheeses, Cholupa sauce).

Did a bit of grocery shopping last nite - used my coupon to try Haagen Das Lite - S'mores -1/2 the calories. Yum!

gldstwmn 03-04-2006 06:40 PM

Last night I had spinach salad with some sliced filet mignon on top. This morning I had organic coffee, 1/2 a breakfast burrito and some Trinity water. I also did 45 minutes on the elliptical and 200 sit ups and some stretching. I ran again yesterday and this week I hope to get back on my bike for the first time in seven months. :)

JazmenFlowers 03-04-2006 07:46 PM

Miss Vicky 03-05-2006 12:13 AM

Cheesecake and milk.

It's a good thing I'm not lactose intolerant.

Lala 03-05-2006 01:07 AM

Sleepy Time Tea

ragandbone 03-05-2006 01:19 AM

Leftover polenta with sundried tomatoes. I have pulled it out of the fridge so long after dinner just to make sure I really liked it. MmmHmm, I still like it.

For exercise today, I chased a toddler up a hill, carried him around a mile-long track, and went up and down a mega slide with him a dozen times.

pianogirl04 03-05-2006 02:01 AM

Had a mandarin chicken salad for dinner (finally found the right dressing for it after two years of shopping around), but I've been snacking on some smuckers jelly beans all day. I'm so bad...

stevierocks87 03-05-2006 02:40 AM

Currently drinking Lipton hot tea....it was the only option QuickTrip had. They should really expand

Yay! They're so good.

I have the, um, Sunday munchies. I think I had some frozen pizza, a small bag of barbecue Lay's, and three brownies. And a glass of ginger ale.

I had the Friday and Saturday munchies. I get one free Ben n Jerry's a month from my phone company, and there's no way I won't eat that whole thing at once. It's really not very much ice cream. Mint Cookie.

Last night I enjoyed a savory bag of chips in addition to *several* little debbie peanut butter wafer chocolate bars. Plus I had regular dinner, a Boca Burrrrrrrrito. I had baby spinach and tomatoes in my burrrrrrito, David. :wavey:  Oh, and I bought a coconut and have been eating that! It's really good for you, this is my first one. It was a bitch to crack open, but the meat really is good. I will have some right now. :woohoo:
Oh yeah, and french fries cooked in coconut oil both days. I sprinkled fresh rosemary on them, it was good.

Chill, Pops, it's the munchies! I'm eating whatever is around!! And there aren't any vegetables around!!

I'll take my vitamin tonight, even though the B-12 makes my pee flourescent yellow and I feel like a superhero. It's true!

A few days ago, I ate -- although I didn't tell anyone here -- a bag of those honey dijon-flavored potato chips. Forgot which brand, but it's the widely known brand of honey dijon chips.

DAMN, those are good.

edit: Kettle brand, maybe??

Yeah, probably Kettle.

This weekend's intake has been fairly anomalous, though, so it's fine.

Hey, you should eat some coconut. It has a special lipid that nothing else besides breast milk has - the lipid has antibiotic and uh...a bunch of other cool properties that make people healthy, strong, beautiful, and thin.
:D

DavidMn 03-05-2006 03:56 PM

I had a California Pizza Kitchen frozen Margherita for lunch. MMM:nod:

GypsySorcerer 03-05-2006 03:59 PM

It's addicting. After trying every diet soda in the book, I've concluded that diet Sunkist is the best.

DavidMn 03-05-2006 04:22 PM

I swear I had the best chicken in my LIFE last night.Derek took me to this place and the breading on the chicken was to DIE FOR!! The white meat on the breasts was sooo jusicy, I think I ate like 7 pieces, seriously! I was clucking all the way home and later I crapped a chicken egg I ate so much.

Have you tried La Croix? I like the orange one the best. No calories, no carbs, no sugar, no sugar substitute. Just sparkling water w/ natural flavoring added. It's deelish!!

How come you get free Ben n Jerry's?

I'll have to try those baked Cheetos. I liked baked Lays and I love Cheetos.

Red 03-06-2006 12:39 AM

Well, we had our annual Oscar's party which consisted of Swedish meatballs, cheese puffs, mini quiches, chocolate chip cookies, lemon cake and white wine. Mmmmm, I love the Oscar's party.:)

My roommate is addicted to these at the moment so I stole some and they are pretty good! I just got a big bag of Trader Joe's cheese puff thingys, hopefully those are good, they are all natural. The FD&C yellow #2 red #5 (or whatever the colors) in Cheetos scare me. According to Dr. Weil you should avoid artificial coloring because the molecules are volatile and can damage your cells. However, a little here and there won't hurt!

I just ate a Trader Joe's muffin, cranberry orange, that has so much fiber in it that it is really filling and low cal. Yum. Plus coffee, always coffee in the morning, I love coffee.

The only thing about those baked cheetos is that they're like eating air. I have to eat half a bag to feel sated!

I just downed a bowl of oatmeal with a bottled water, mmmm, not very interesting.

For lunch I'm having a cajun turkey breast sandwich on particulary nutty bread, with 2% milk cheddar cheese...hey, I'm trying to be good :)

DavidMn 03-06-2006 01:16 PM

Derek made these delicious boneless baby back pork ribs last night. YUMMY!

I have Working Assets long distance company. They give a percentage of their profits to various causes I believe in (you know, all the good liberal ones) and I guess since Ben and Jerry's also swings left, I get one free B n J a month.
