Sexiest Stevie...

What ONE (ok, maybe two) image, concert, etc. do you think represents Stevie at her sexiest?

To me, it would have to be the Playboy photoshoot and the picture below in my signature. That whole SNL Stand Back performance was sexayyy.

amber 02-20-2006 03:17 PM

I just answered this and it didn't show up. Weird.
Yeah, that SB was way sexy. I loved her dancing.
I would pick Japan Rhiannon and GDW. But stevie is almost always sexy, so it's hard to say. I would also pick Chain and SOTM from Mirage.

I choose "Silver Springs" video from The Dance.

That she looked so good at 49 made her a lot sexier to me than any of her younger looks.

You really think she posed nude?

Here it is:

David 02-20-2006 03:45 PM

1. When she was hot & young back in 1976, either floating around onstage at Days on the Green or on the back of the Rumours album (DJs used to masturbate on the air with that one).

2. When she was a little older & plumper but a blues mama growling her way through Rhiannon at the late Tusk Tour shows, spreading her boots apart & pointing her toes out, swaying & squatting like Sacajawea examing deer tracks.

amber 02-20-2006 03:51 PM

I can't believe Stevie was the same age as I am now while singing for TUSK. :distress: And we think of that as young, fairly fresh voiced Stevie, but I feel old.

Plumper, David? hardly barely. Nice inclusion of Sacajawea, though.

Super sexy on the HBO White Winged Dove Tour. Yummy.

And I think she is sexy gorgeous in the Seven Wonders video.

amber 02-20-2006 04:07 PM

The White Winged Dove tour is the best. Best hair, best body - just divine.
See, like I said, it's hard to find a not sexy Stevie. This is not, I repeat not, an invitation to post bad pics of Stevie.
I have always adored twirling see through tube dress fun in the sun easy free Tusk video Stevie. There's better shots than this, but...she was so happy that day.

1970-2006. ;)

Hmm. I'd have to say Mirage era (hello, Gypsy video!), and The Dance/Enchanted.

I do like those legs though.. :) Good marks there.... I personally think Stevie was at very sexy in '87. She had "come to bed" eyes in the Seven Wonders and Little Lies videos..

BUT all time sexiest for me is Go Your Own Way on the Mirage gig. very.. well.... sexy! (it's the eyes and the lipstick)

I mentioned the Seven Wonders video in my first post too (with pic)...but I also find her appealing and sexy in the Little Lies video.

I know what you mean too about the Mirage/GYOW...there's a tight shot of her with the top hat and profile, then she turn towards camera and she is just über sexy.

When she was my age, she was living with Lindsey and working on BuckinghamNicks. :)

I use it too, isn't it fabulous stuff? :wavey:

Stevie at her sexiest would be during the early 80's. (The Seven Wonders video gets an honorable mention though...yowzaa!)

DestinyRules 02-20-2006 05:31 PM

When Stevie was my age, she was either recording or releasing and touring with Bella Donna. Now I feel old.

not to hijack my own thread, but do you use the lip balm too? I'm not a big fan of it for some reason and I can't figure out why...

Did you see the body cream is being released and 10 oz. will be around $120 whereas the face cream is $195 per 1 oz. jar? I'm all over that.

amber 02-20-2006 05:32 PM

Oh, I love that skirt anomoly Stevie pic that richard posted. I can't believe she barely ever wore that, she has pretty legs.
Also - for you La Mer people - I'd like to chime in about alpha lipoic acid right now. If you don't take it, take it, if you don't use it topically, you might want to.

See. :(
I mean, where's my TUSK? Am I famous? No. Am I enthralling people around the world with my enchanting presence? uh uh. Is my voice the sexiest instrument ever, at it's most fluid? Hardly.
I've sooooo wasted my life. :p

That's the moment... She's not really "my type" (brunette's are my "attraction magnets") BUT I have to say that's one of the sexiest looks I've ever seen at that moment...

It's like the biggest most well rounded antioxident ever. And it's both water and oil soluble, is the thing. There is one thing - there is both an R form and an L form - the R form, I think, is the great one, but recent studies have shown the L one puts inhibiting factors on the working of the R one - and most products mix both. It's still great, though. But - I just discovered it and have done limited research - there's surely an only R form out there. I read on one site that it would be better to get the ingredients and make your own, so apparently it's out there. then they had a link to making your own cosmeceuticals site, and it's not that hard at all. Omigosh, it's most plentiful source is red meat! Weird.
Here's a snippet:
"Alpha-lipoic acid also plays an important role in the synergism of antioxidants, what Packer prefers to call the body's "antioxidant network." It directly recycles and extends the metabolic lifespans of vitamin C, glutathione, and coenzyme Q10, and it indirectly renews vitamin E.

In Germany, alpha-lipoic acid is an approved medical treatment for peripheral neuropathy, a common complication of diabetes. It speeds the removal of glucose from the bloodstream, at least partly by enhancing insulin function, and it reduces insulin resistance, an underpinning of many cases of coronary heart disease and obesity. The therapeutic dose for lipoic acid is 600 mg/day. In the United States, it is sold as a dietary supplement, usually as 50 mg tablets. (The richest food source of alpha-lipoic acid is red meat.)"

Also Dr. Perricone's skin treatment thingy has a lot of info on it. Just google if you want more. I've been reading the studies - and there's some conflicting or inconclusive studies.

There are too many studies done in the States... Life used to be so straight forward. I remember the study on the effect of notebooks on sperm counts (they were called laptops until it was decided it was unwise to use it on your lap).. Who does this stuff... These people are out there somewhere....

Sahara 02-20-2006 05:50 PM

Definitely Tango Stevie. Seven Wonders, Little Lies, the Tango DVD ... all that. Tango through OSOTM. I think it was the hair that did it. And the awesome earrings!

When Stevie was my age she was ... at high school, presumably. Having just written her first song! Aww. I feel so young and totally insignificant.

which brings up another question I have...was Stevie's first song Rose Garden or I've Loved and I've Lost...I mean, which is it

Well, some of the studies were from Germany and stuff.
Um...how can you study things too much? Actually, sometimes you're right, like when they study things that are really obvious.
There are so many studies because pharmaceutical companies want to sell as much **** as they can. :)
To stay on topic: She only had this hair, like, five times - but I love it.
Oh, and Sahara? How can you like Tango and OSOTM hair?! Big sprayed bangs?!

I've Loved and I've Lost is the one I've heard her cite as her very first song. I've never heard her mention Rose Garden in that context.

Big, AWESOME sprayed bangs if you don't mind. :]

I actually have no idea why I love this so much. I just think she pulled off the big eighties hair so much better than anyone else at that time. It looked great, especially for the Rooms on Fire video. When I think of awesome Stevie hair, that's what I think of. But Seven Wonders was pretty damn class too. But I think Lindsey took the biscuit there for sexy hair.

But hey, I'm waffling. What can I say, I think about their hair too much!

Stevie looks amazing in the music videos of the songs. Her hair was not so great in the TITN live video. It was rather puffy.

True. But I still loved it. I want that hat! The black one with the jewel in the centre ... so cool. Also, the earrings. They were class.:woohoo:

Was it my imagination but in the videos to Little Lies and especially Seven Wonders, Stevies nose looks more angular. Was this make up, camera angles or did she have a nose job at some point? Come to think of it, when did her septum fall out?
