It's not really that short!

I think I actually like the longer version better.

The screen is too dark for me to see anything properly. I will judge when I get home later on. :p

I was almost positive Stevie didn't have calves - now this. :)

Thanks for the link! You're right, I wouldn't really call it "short," but it's certainly "shorter." I can't decide, from that picture, whether I like it or not. Whatever...Stevie can do no wrong IMO, so I'm sure I'll love it. :laugh:

I can't tell - is she wearing leggings underneath the skirt? Also - are those knee-high boots?

I thought they were just opaque black thick tights. But, tomato tomahto - if they are tights or leggings the effect is pretty much the same.
I don't think those are boots - I thought they were her legs. But on the other hand, I don't really see the top of a shoe - so maybe they are form fitting boots.
I guess I don't really know anything, and am talking for no purpose. Luckily, I know you won't be suprised.

I know, I can't really tell. I think you're right, it's just her legs, but it does look a shade darker right below the knee. Ah, who knows, and why do I care?

That first shot isn't from Rock and Roll...there is no feather in her top hat...that is either from Dreams or Outside the Rain.

But what about the leggings/boots?

They are stockings and higher boots I think, I didn't get a great look and it makes it hard to identify it because she is holding up the skirt, otherwise I could tell you for sure...but she wore a top hat without a feather for OTR and Dreams...but R&R hat has a red feather in it.

I think those are the shorter boots that come right above the ankle that she has...they have the chunkier heel, but still nice...


Question for melbourne concert goers, did she wear the pants as well for rock n roll??

Twirling in a short skirt is not only more dangerous than in a long skirt, it also doesn't look as impressive. In terms of twirling fabric, not anything else ... oh boy. :laugh:

This thread should be re-titled, "Slightly Shorter Than Usual Skirt". :laugh:

I don't understand the legwarmers. But I accept them as a Stevie essential. I haven't seen her wearing any in ages though.

I like them. I think they looked especially good on the 1st leg of the Gold Dust tour with Don. They seem to detract from the...well, you know, those comfortable shoes she wears. I think if she's gotta wear those dreadful clunkers, she should stick with a long skirt and the leg warmers.

I didn't know she was wearing them in recent times. They're pretty cool. I just don't understand them in the way that I can't see anyone else wearing them and getting away with it!

At the show I attended 6/05, I finally got to shake Stevie's hand during the Edge walk. I also touched her foot & legwarmer while she stood in front of me. I got a short video clip of it (I had my digital camera with me) & at the end, I squeal for some stupid reason "Ooooh, I touched a legwarmer!" :o

mini skirts on tevie you ask......here u go....granted they are from some time ago. one didn't fit because it was a bit too big, but you get the idea.
