The Ledge
 

I have noticed at the few other forums that I have seen, they are much more strict than The Ledge. Numerous threads get closed every day because they are "pointless" or other similar threads have been created in the past. Or when the people get off onto tangents and change the subject of the thread away from what the title says, the moderators actually change the title. My question is why are things at The Ledge so lax? Is it weak and cowardly moderators or just a conscious effort to let the Ledgies get the most out of their free speech rights?

Christ. And I thought moderator interventions on the Ledge were idiotic. No wonder so many people go along with **** like "sensitivity training" and "terrorist surveillance programs." Everybody wants to be protected from himself.
