One last prayer...
 

Hey guys...I think a lot of you remember my father had been sick with cancer for months. Well he had a stroke about a week ago and according to his wife, the cancer has spread to his brain and spine. The swelling on his brain has caused his "optic nerves" to be under pressure and he is losing his vision. This isn't a good sign according to the doctor's and nurses. Anyway...I just wanted to ask you to keep in your thoughts & prayers. At risk of sounding selfish I still need my father in my life, and my brother & sister do moreso.

I'll be thinking of you and your family, Brandon. I lost my Mom to cancer three years ago, this past Saturday. I know it's tough. Be strong.

I have found that praying and wishing for strength, was the only way that I could help my Dad deal with this battle.

Brandon I know how scary this is for you, and your family. I pray for you and your family’s faith not to stagger but grow stronger. I pray that those caring for your father know exactly what he needs, and with that knowledge provide your father comfort and strength. I pray for patience and perseverence during this time when your father’s illness appears to worsen and for the promise of healing to be claimed by your dad – this is what he so rightly deserves.

Thank you all for your kind words. They are encouraging. I'm actually gonna print up the screen posts, and give them to dad next week when I fly to see him. He's not into the internet thing, but I'll just tell him its from "all of my friends."

Not good. I thank all of you for the prayers. I love you guys. My father's cancer is terminal. I am leaving on Wed night to go stay with him for 2 weeks and then decide from there, with my brother and sister, what we're going to do.
