Videos

I could have sworn that I recorded the videos for Every Day and Sorcerer back when they were on VH1, but I looked through all my VHS tapes and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a website out there where I might be able to download those two videos?

Listen, all you had to say was that the clip/animation that I previously posted was only meant to be used by edgeofseventeen. That was a message that is quick and to the point. That I can deal with...but otherwise, it was a rude and verbally unclear message to send. There is no way for people to know whose graphics are whose on the internet. I won't apologize for my friends, nor will I apologize for my posting it here. It is a silly and childish thing...and it could've and should've been handled differently from the beginning. I do apologize to the others :sorry: on the board...but I did feel unfairly attacked for something I didn't know that I did! But I won't apologize to her, when she could've handled it in a much better way...

It does raise some good issues about graphics, and who has ownership...and how do others know who they belong to when they come up in search engines or when they are put on their website (for instance they are put in my comment boxes on in my message boxes all the time!). In fact, at the Heart message board...I found out that my new friend Dea made half of the ones on MySpace! She was happy and excited that I was using them. I call that the height of graciousness...not everyone is so mature about such things. Of course, if someone doesn't like the fact that I am using their graphic...there is an appropriate way to discuss the issue.

Well, IMO, unless it's copyrighted material, anything posted anywhere on the internet is fair game and can be lifted. It would be the right thing to credit the author/creator, if known.

:thumbsup: JWS, I totally agree...and in this case, I didn't know the creator until she SO BLUNTLY (well, IMO RUDELY actually...) told me it wasn't meant for my use. :nod: I would have immediately asked if I may use it (and the others she says she made) and credit her. I am sure my friend who brought to me had no idea it was for the exclusive use (in the creator's opinion) of one person besides the creator. :shrug:

Another mature response...I should expect so much! I don't know why I was trying to be reasonable after the initial "flaming" I got at the beginning of this tirade...

FYI: Don't do drugs, never have...never will. Never even smoked a cigarette. Also, you should (although, noticing your ethics so far...you probably won't be in the least! :shocked: ) be ashamed for making fun of those who are on experimental drugs. I have a genetic immune disease. It killed my little 18 month old sister, and my 12 year old brother has it as well. I'm the "guinea pig" in the family by choice (being a Biologist) and they are experimenting on me by using new gammaglobulin (fractionated blood plasma) that I infuse subcutaneously through six needles in my skin once a week. So...you see...it's really the height of indecency to make fun of others in such a way. It's not good KARMA...

David, I understand that your defending your friend...and that's understandable. You may understand her rhetoric and the manner of which she writes, but her initial post was taken very rudely by me. I assume it was meant as such...and my confused response to her first post seemed to rile her up even more...but I think you can see her anger towards me from the start.
