Perspectives: Ledgies that you like but are wary of ...

Don't do this ... this might possibly irritate some Ledgies.

macfanken 01-11-2006 08:40 PM

David, I don't like the question and I refuse to answer it.

sara1998 01-11-2006 08:51 PM

Well, this is a ****-stirring thread if I've ever seen one.....

HomerMcvie 01-11-2006 08:56 PM

David, I know YOU think this is a funny question.

What a bad idea, my friend.:xoxo:

HAHA! yeah it IS. Yikes. Well to be honest, I don't have any beefs with anybody on here. I think some of you are nuts, but then again, we all are to a certain degree. We're all different and most of us DON'T think alike, and it makes for interesting posts. Mostly, I come around here to get a chuckle, and hopefully on occasion make you guys laugh/smile too.

SteveMacD 01-11-2006 09:33 PM

I have an issue with SteveMacD. Never trust a guy who goes back down to his undergrad pant size.

Amen. And never trust a guy who's prejudiced against bands with numbers in their names!

They're in Dayton on the 29th.....GO SEE THEM!!!!

Brwn_eyes0511 01-11-2006 09:38 PM

Well, I suppose since I haven't started a "**** starting" thread in a few months, someone felt the need to!

As I've said, they're the EXCEPTION to that rule. What's weird is that they're playing a small club. In fact, I've got a friend who's in a band that's on the bill!

Can someone clue me into what the hell the original question was and why it was subsequently edited out?

I hope you go and see them. I've not seen them since Chris Scruggs(Earl's grandson- he wanted to do the solo thing)quit. But I'm sure that it's still honky tonk heaven! I doubt that I'll be able to see them in Indy. I'm supposed to do sound for a local Latin-ish group, that night. The other soundman(at the club I work at) hates them, and has already said he won't take my place that night. So, looks like I'm out of luck.
Sooo, go see them, and drink one(or twelve!) for me!

UNBELIEVABLE that nobody quoted it, huh? Something akin to: "Who here do you like, but are "wary" of?".

This place can be like walking on VERY thin ice!

Well, you and I were on the list at one point. :wavey:

Ironically enough I often wonder what your motives are behind some of your posts here, David. They tend to be intellectual but nebulous.

Well, I can guess the question from the thread title (it's still inexplicable to me why thread titles cannot be edited here). However, I didn't know David had actually made his own list until Curtis said so. Surprisingly passive-aggressive for David.

I still feel a little upset that I wasn't on it!

I never make any damn lists...:o

They can be edited now by the mods. Someone who creates a thread, try double-clicking on it in the forum and see if it becomes editable. I'm not sure if users can do this or not.

Is it ironic because you mean by this ^ that you like David but are wary of him? That's the only possible irony I see here, but you didn't say that.

Okay, yeah, he would be on my "like but wary of" list. However, I probably should have just left this alone!

Nah, doesn't count as anything if you only *almost* mention the person who started the thread. I mainly wanted to tease you about irony.

I think tooting my own horn is how half of the weight came off in the first place...

sparky 01-12-2006 02:45 PM

I, for one, like David a great deal. However, I would be slightly wary of meeting him. If only for the reason that I fear he may be so charismatic and mysterious I might try and form a church around him and his teachings.

Beware. Part of your group's uniforms would have to be berets.

I never make any lists either...I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing, maybe I fly under the radar or most people like and/or don't even know me...who knows

this thread reminds me of the little notebooks that we used to pass around in school. each page had a person's name at the top and you write one good thing and one bad thing about them...needless to say, it quickly became outlawed by the administration, but it's always interesting to see what people generally said about you...comments about me were always the same

hahaha!!! Those notebooks were so far back in my memory... but I remember them now. Although I don't remember what was said about me.
