Not sure if this is old news or not, but apparently Rock and Republic makes "Stevie" jeans with a kind of Wild Heart-ish graphic on the back pockets in various colored rhinestones. They're called: "Rock and Republic Stevie Chroma Jeans".

Might just have to get me a pair! ;)

Seems to be a bunch on ebay too.....I"m always the last to know about this things (getting old, me thinks!)

Just thought I'd share

 Forget it.

They look splendid, but I didn't get sowing classes for nothing at elementary school.

SapphireSister 01-09-2006 12:24 PM

I bought a pair of the "Stevies" from Rock and Republic when they first came out over 2 years ago. When I got to the store I found that they weren't jeans but rather beige color pants with light blue trim. Nothing Stevie about them but I bought them anyway for about $150. They have a great fit and I still wear them to this day.

They will only look good on thin people because the light parts are right where most women have their curves and do not need emphasis!

Have you seen anything on a big person that looks... well, "good?" haha!

I can say that because I'm somewhat big!

Yes. Do you watch "What not to Wear"? They're all about the dark wash jeans. Anyone walking in with those Stevie jeans on, if they were any older than 21, would get a lashing.

You've got a point! haha! They're cute, but I'm almost 30, and I can't wear **** like that. I'm borderline allowed to wear flare bottoms...

Oh brother. I'll be 35 in April. At a size 12 the last thing I need is bling on my butt. I've got enough junk in that trunk!

Damn! Looks like I'm the only one of you pussies willing to dress too young for my age. :distress: Where's your inner 20 yr. old white trash?! Let it out! JK - I don't think I'd fit a size 30 even if skinny. Maybe just.

Sounds like my Nana, except she's 74. She has a pair of lavender vinyl pants with a matching jacket.

Oh my god, I love that. LOVE IT! Go Nana. :woohoo:

I wear young people jeans and I'm 37. I won't wear belly shirts (god forbid) or anything like that, but I actually think some of the low slung jeans are more flattering.

They are, all of my pants are low rise now. But not the extreme low rise, they're just below the naval. That is a much more flattering cut because you are not emphasizing the hips! Oy vez.

My Nana is a hoot. She has a smokin little bod at 74. Its amazing. Jack Lalane motivated her to get in shape in her 40s, I believe. She's been counting calories ever since. Yuck. The joke is, "My grandmother dresses like Britney Spears." Except she really doesn't but she dresses in junior's stuff. She has these jeans that have a faux fur animal print cuff! She really is something else I tell ya. I've got to photograph her more.

Did Stevie ever dirty her jeans?

What happens if you are backstage just before showtime & Mick Fleetwood begins the powerful kick drum introduction to The Chain, & all of a sudden you get a crampy urge to run to the john -- possibly that lentil chopped liver you ate two hours before?

What the heck do you do? There are 14,000 screaming & obnoxious fans out front, & The Chain is just about to kick in vocally? AND ... it's the opening night of the tour....

And you're Stevie? Well, you go to the bathroom and let everyone wait, of course!

I wanna see a picture! She sounds hilarious!

I kinda like the winged thingy motif... would prefer it embroidered rather than rhinestoned myself though... but I'm a traditional girl. I would not pay more than $100 for them though...

On a similar note, I just found this hoodie when flipping through my Delia's catalog last night and immediately thought of Stevie. :o

This store has them for sale a bit cheaper  (around $140), but in a different color...I haven't called to see if they have any of the pink yet.
