I know, I've thought of that too. I try to keep my sense of humor in every situation.... But, I've got every light on downstairs, plus the TV, and I'm keeping my computer light on upstairs and Sara's playroom light. I have Sara sleeping in my bed now... sigh... I hope I get some sleep tonight.

I think all of those things were a good idea. You are protected by your home and alarm and 911. You will be okay. You know, when I was scared as a kid and could not sleep I would think about superheros, Wonder Woman mostly. Hehe. For some reason that helped me sleep [/end random memory]. Repeat after me, "I am safe." :angel:

WOW! Your mom sounds very wise. ;) I loved Wonder Woman and the Bionic Woman, they were my idols as a child. In my imagination I thought, "Why can't a woman leap houses?" That was the best.

You're right about the adulthood part. The serenity prayer helps now, over and over and over. Though I haven't had that kind of anxiety for quite some time, thank you lord! :)
