Can anyone post an acoustic version of GYOW, I cant get a copy and i dont even know if one exists. But i'd say it would be fantastic

I don't remember one. Maybe that old radio show from 1992--Jim Bob & Billy Bob?--features one, along with "Louie Louie" & "Holiday Road."

Oh, wait. I think there's a snippet of one on one of the video interviews.

He doesn't sing, but he plays the acoustic parts on that Rumours Classic Albums thingy.

the closest thing to an acoustic GYOW is the soundstage one, imo.

I think he does it all acoustic on one of the radio shows.

You Lindsey fans need to keep better records.

I'll have to look around for it. I think it was the Jim Bob & Billy Show (?) in 1992/93. Lindsey was just sitting there with his guitar & he played a bunch of stuff.
I'm not Mr. Knowitall. I never in my life said I was Mr. Knowitall. It's only OTHER fans who pin me with all those stupid, stupid labels, & I can't stand it. Gerald, do you dig my sig picture of Stevie in her Late Ming Dynasty Empress of the Pagoda phase? Some people are saying nasty things about Stevie being on drugs, but I believe that she is engineering her persona here.

Why were there no AUDIENCE VIDEOS from the Cradle Tour? Has anyone ever thought of this? WHY WOULD THIS BE? HOW COULD THIS BE? I don't personally crave an audience video from this tour, but I think it is very weird that audience vids never surfaced.

There is slightly incomplete footage from the 1993-Apr-02 Atlanta date, sound quality being good but the picture being your average Fleetwood Mac amateur shot bootleg.

But then why would you care? You're too busy listening to that modern Mac dross like "Steal Your Heart Away" all the time.

But don't forget; I love Stevie. And her story, including this interesting phase. I've always loved Diego maradona too, including his cocaine-fat-era. It's a life-story that will always appeal to me. Rock'n'roll. Including uglyness.

I'm a music-perception-addict. Not a fact-archivist. I don't do so much bootlegging, trading etc. Although there are some things I'd like to have.....

I think there are. :shrug: Well, I know of one, I have it, I can't remember which city - quality sucks, but it does exist. I thought there were 2 or 3 total.

What I want to know is how there are NO audience vids from Mirage or Wild Heart. Yes, I know, video cameras were not as small as they are now, but still - they weren't that small in 86, yet we still have a couple of Stevie shows from RAL. You'd think there would be at least ONE from each tour in existence. :shrug:

There's one that I know of: Stevie's Blossom show in Cleveland July 22, 1983. She hauls up a huge orange snake onstage--stuffed--it's about 40 feet long.

Bitchin! How well did that work? I could never come up with a decent acoustic arrangement for it. Our band did it live 5 or 6 times and we always did it ala "The Dance" version.

My band does the Dame Edna version.

My band does the Sally Field version.

cmon demon, that was so tongue in cheek that you just can't take it serious. He didn't. And that's what I love about the clip. besides, I LOVE him when he goes baserk.

Its a bit mad alright, but what would you expect. Though thank for posting. The whole thing has got me thinking about a whole Lindsey Buckingham Unplugged MTV session. Could you imagine?
Anyway really enjoyed your 2 versions of lindsey solos you posted, not at all hinting here that i'd like to see a few more. You have adapted to that finger style playing of LB perfectly. How can you make it look that easy. Do you have any reccomended reading or websites that you ever found helpful for that style.

Yeah that's true. I think he was in that "I want to only play new songs" phase, and the fact that he was in some bar full of drunks having to sing "Go Your Own Way" probably made him go nuts like that. Still, it was pretty bad.
