Kristen on Soundstage?
 

This is almost certainly old news by now but leave me alone, I only just got my DVD!

My question -- is this Kristen Buckingham?



She's in the front row and pops up on screen a few times, in particular when Lindsey mentions his family and his new, happier life just before Big Love. [Aww!] That's what put the thought in my head that it might be Kristen, she looks like her...

Any thoughts?

Soundstage blew me away, btw. Murrow was extraordinary. I would _never_ have thought they'd be able to do a song that complex live. Then again I forgot it was a genius we were dealing with here. :rolleyes: Very impressive stuff.

One last thing -- when was this filmed?

I thought the same thing that that was her, but then I realized that Kristen had a more blond hairdo than that.

You get such a good look at the gang in the front row on Soundstage. Ah, what I wouldn't give to be that woman in red who Lindsey stood right in front of during the Go Your Own Way solo .... *sigh, swoon etc* :o

I have a couple friends that are in the video too. they are on the far side to Lindsey's left.

Lucky lucky people! There are lots of very good audience shots, you could really pick yourself out if you had been there ... maybe because it's a way smaller venue than the usual DVD gigs?

When was it filmed?

September 15, 2003, right after Fleetwood Mac played at the United Center in Chicago on the 13th. I was at the 13th show, but I had to get back to Minneapolis to work, so I couldnt get to the soundstage. Oh well.

I think that lady who's not Kristen looks a smidge like Linda Blair as a teen. LOL

That looks like Ledgie Sulamith but I don't think her hair was quite that long at the time.

I want to say September 15, 2003 but I'd have to go dig out my ticket to be sure. Quite a few of us are in it. It was really something, that night. I didn't see Kristen in any of the audience shots. She was wearing a gray cashmere type shawl and was sitting with family members in the balcony.

i think the bird u first showed was one of those annoying swaying women.... lindsey music is not swaying music damn it:mad:
the women in the front row made the whole show seem very naff great preformance and aslong as the dvd wasnt showing the audience .

Now that is not Sulamith. I thought that she was sitting near you and Jason.

That's cuz there isn't one. LB has dated mostly blondes, but that doesn't mean they all look like Stevie. :rolleyes:

Exactly. I've always dated men (and ended up marrying one!) with dark hair. That certainly doesn't mean they all look alike. I see absolutely no resemblance between Kristen and Stevie.

I must agree. Stevie and other past partners, perhaps, but not Kristen.

Anyone else find the clapping along to some of the songs a bit ... unusual? :shrug: I don't have a problem with it, it sounds fine, it's just a thought that never really occured to me before that it was ... clapping ... music. :lol:

the audience is told they are filming a dvd so they are reserved
(sometimes i think they are from a timewarp of the 70s)

Lindsey's Soundstage was filmed in Chicago.

I was living in Chicago at the time, and was at the show on the 13th show as well! 10th row, on Stevie's side.

I was just making the transition from casual to obsessed fan at the time. So unfortunately, I didn't know about the Soundstage event until it was too late to get tickets.
