Project Runway Season 2
 

Ok, who watched it? This season is going to be great. I was excited that it was a 2 hour premiere. I see a lot of the same personalities in this year's contestants. There are plenty of queens and angry bitches. The best part, so far, are the challenges. They are so creative...I never guessed what they were about to do. I already have some favorites, but we'll see how the season progresses. I hate Michael and Nina. And please someone bury that tramp Diane Von Furstenburg - does she not wear the same dress every time she's on the show? Anyway, what was your reaction?

I watched, but I fell asleep during the 2nd hour...did that return contestant get the boot? Please tell me he did...

So far, I'm loving the Asian girl from Houston and the guy who won the first round.

nope, he made it. I think that sucks. It pisses me off the same way it pissed me off that they put 2 returning players on Survivor. I love the Asian girl from Dallas and Emmett and I like Santino (or whatever his name is) but I think his personality will end up pissing me off too.

The magnets were f*ing stupid (why not velcro or hook and eye closures), but for some reason she seems like a little child to me and it's almost like I don't want anyone to say anything mean to her because it will crush her.

I watched this show for the first time last night. I LOVE it! :nod: I don't really know why, but I do. The Barbie thing was a pretty cool challenge.

My fave outfits were the Asian girl's (sorry, I don't know names yet) with the long hem in back & short in front to reveal that gorgeous pink lining. I also liked the winner's outfit OK, as well as the one that guy was sewing on the model until the very end. HATED that Marla chick's and the coutoure-type piece of crap balloon skirt. And that orange tablecloth "beach girl" monstrosity? What beach have you been to, buddy? Good God. :rolleyes:

The attorney lady that was like the second one to go this season was great...Some of the ones left...are NOT!

He didn't want to sign the contracts because it gave the show too much control. Also, Wendy is getting divorced from her husband and Kevin recently admitted that he was the one who drew on her daughter's picture. :laugh:

I, too, am annoyed.

I wasn't too upset over Emmitt getting the boot-his designs sucked-he needs to stick to men's clothes.

If Santino goes overboard again next week, they'll probably get rid of him then, don't ya think?

I still love Chloe, and Zulema's designs are consistently good.

ITA about Chloe. She's my favorite. Always classy with a little twist.

Zulema is on my last nerve. I hope she is cut tonight, instead of Santino.

The sad part is, is that model will be going home...and she was one of the best. Poor Nick. There is no way Daniel will get rid of Rebecca....she is the bomb....as was Nick's first model.....:(

I thought Santino's fabric looked familiar. Remember when he was complaining about Diane's voice? Well, I can't stand HIS voice. I kept trying to imitate him last night, talking low and holding my nose. And he needs to keep wearing hats.

I thought Andre should have won last night, that dress was gorgeous!

I didn't watch season 1, I'm kind of glad I didn't. Jay seems like a dick. Loved it when Heidi called him on his complaints. "I seem to remember you having big talk last season too..." :lol:

I didn't watch Season 1 either...and I too thought Jay was a dick...he was very rude to some of them...

Anyone else tired of Andrae's wierd ass looks and expressions, just over ANYTHING!

I agree...Santino tries too hard and Kara is deadweight. I would encourage my dear friend Paula to watch Season 1...the drama between Wendy and Kara Saun is historical.

Santino's not being as dicky lately either, which is good.

I want Chloe & Daniel to be in the final. I prefer Nick slightly over Andrae (ITA with Brandon about his annoying wide-eyed shock over every little thing), but Andre's dress was fantastic this week.

I'm with you, I want Chloe and Daniel in the final. Nick is my third favorite. While I like Andrae, he annoys the **** out of me...he provides Bravo with plenty of expressions for the previews of the next week's show...blech...

I liked Daniel's, but I thought Chloe's was better & that she or Kara should have won this challenge. Santino? Who cares. I like his Tim Gunn impressions a billion times more than his designs. :laugh:

BTW - I just found out that they auction off each outfit every week - did you guys know this? Stuff goes anywhere from $75 to $700, and it's all the originals. kind of cool.

I like Nick a lot and glad he wasn't voted off. You are right though....his dress wasn't that good. He's been off par since he lost his model (Damn you Zulema!!!! :mad: ) and I'm afraid he won't make it to fashion week.

Kara should go next, even though her dress was fab this week, but she's been mediocre throughout the show. And Santino? He should go, too.

I LOVED the gutter dress. Andrae did it - sadly, he was out the next week.

I like Nick. He's been out of it, but I'm hoping he comes around. I think Kara's dress was a fluke...she's so average and uninspiring, I mean, that damn "caution" dress was the point where I was done even caring what she put out.

Daniel, Chloe and Nick to the final 3 - with either Daniel or Chloe taking it...tho I'm leaning towards Daniel right now.
