My engagment ring
 

Ok these are the best pictures I was able to get. Diamonds are really hard to take pictures of! They turn out really blurry everytime. :distress: And I tried with three different kinds of cameras.

I think that you might need a 'macro' lens to get a good photo of the ring. It looks pretty even though it is fuzzy.

The ring is gorgeous. Patty is right, to take close up photos you need a macro lense. You might have better luck putting the ring on some black fabric and stepping back so the image is sharp. Take the photo using natural light. Then you can zoom in on it a bit digitally afterward.

Arg. I'll have to settle for what I've got. Oh well. The first one isn't too bad. The color is off, but it gets the job done!!
