LOL, it is so TRUE!! i haven't look at the video, but i had to REPLY to that! I really think little of her because of that extreme vanity! Dont hang me guys, its true! IE: red rocks!, Tango in the night!! OH I DAMN HATE IT!!

Vanity?! Christine is the one singing, looking at six of her own reflections... Stevie's just chillin on the chaise longue.. don't hate her cos she's beautiful :laugh:

Ditto! Remember, back in the early 80's Stevie was a hot ticket, so having her sit in the hot sun, in the middle of the desert looking beautiful was the perfect place for her in this video. (plus, it isn't even her own song anyways! lol :nod: )

I have to catch my breath when I see her in that video! She is simply stunning. Its perfect because you only get glimpses so you just want to see more. I love this song too. Christine looks pretty good in the video too. :laugh:

Its nice to see Christine looking good! She doesnt seem one to be a camera grabbing person and shies from the limelight, so its great to see her looking so good! And HER getting most of the attention! She's aloud to because its her video

That image of Stevie in the desert carrying the painting randomly leaks into my dreams every so often....hmmm.....wtf.?.?

I don't know exactly where you're coming from, but I can't agree that just from this video you can say "extreme vanity" - I mean, take it for what it's worth and don't apply so much depth/meaning to it.

I think she looks better in the Little Lies video.

Clearly the director paid his homage to Magritte in the video, but the game with the time frame could also be a hint towards Dali, I agree.

Nooooooooooo!!!!!! It still looks cool. I think it's really neat to put a painter's "look" into stylized movement like that.

It's maybe even possible that Lindsey & Christine, with their love & knowledge of art (both undoubtedly know Magritte), played a role in the design/look.

No, I agree it still looks cool. It's a great video. I think it's just that when you see that so much of the imagery is directly borrowed from another artist, it seems less original somehow. But still good. I think the Tango album cover is the best of all their album covers, and it's obviously not FM's "original" artwork.

I haven't seen this video in years but after looking at it today, I remember thinking the person with the derby and the cane is Stevie. I still believe I'm right. There's curly hair that seems to be tucked under the hat and the person looks rather short, so that it can't be John or Lindsey.

Plus I think the arms reaching out toward each other are Stevie's and Lindsey's but that's purely my inner shipper coming up with that theory.

I know where your'e coming from. I rarely watch RR or TITN because of the close-ups that were edited in later. :rolleyes:
