In the Soundstage DVD thread, some folks were asking for some audio files for their car, etc... I have a few but only have time to post one tonight.

Here is "I Am Waiting". This song didn't do much for me the first time I heard it. I would say around the 3rd time it really struck me. A very simple song, but beautiful.

ETA: My immediate thoughts: Holy sheet. :shocked: I've never heard Lindsey sound like this before. His voice.....amazing. Love the weird echo effect. This will be on rotation for a long time, I imagine.

Thanks a lot Matt, I love the song and especially Lindsey/FM version. When I heard the original watching Rushmore (it's somehere in the soundtrack), I instantly thought "the version on Destiny Rules was better" .

Thanks Matt... I ordered the dvd yesterday as a matter of fact.

there are varying ways of doing it...
these are steps i usually take...
depending upon the type of file input
i usually convert to avi or whatever best suits
once coverted depending upon the size i split
once split i decompile...once decompiled i recompile...
i utilize 3-4 softwares to accomplish these tasks

my fav subjects are stevie and lindsey :nod:

i could listen to this for hours...
i love lindsey performing this song :nod:

What is this song in reference to? I just read the lyrics and it looks like something Lindsey would write. Anyone know a story behind it?

It's a Stones song, but I was wondering what it was about or some story behind it. Unless they are like Lindsey, with the whole "Put your own story to it because I don't really know what it means." thing. LOL

i wasnt able to come up with a story behind it, although there may be one, other than it is off an album that they (jagger and richards) first compiled all the songs themselves. i did find plenty of reviews stating it is/was ill-timed :shrug:

I can do withouth SYHA....the SYW version holds a special place in my heart....I love Stevie (and Christine)'s background vocals....it sounds sooooo Fleetwood Mac.

I find it fascinating that it was featured in the Destiny Rules doc, with Stevie on background (or trying to put in her "oh yeahs")..wonder if it was considered as part of the cd? Seems most strange.The words sure are interesting, almost like a reply to "everyone finds out"..don't really fancy going down that road!!
