I grabbed these from the Japan Young Music video. I started to feel a little like a photographer (with a bad camera) at a concert, because I had to hit the buttons, and just hope I got a good shot. I think technically, one would say the original videographer shot these. This was fun!

Christine has different hair in this video (JYM '77) too, it is crimped.

That GDW video creeps me out. It's so weird!

That is what is so eerie about the year of touring in 1977: Stevie started the tour with crimped hair. But by the end of the tour -- Australia, Japan & Hawaii -- Christine had the crimped hair, as if it had osmossified from Stevie to Christine!! :shocked: :shocked:

I don't know about all of you, but that gives me the heebie-jeebie creepie willies.

Maybe they were trading wigs.
I also think Stevie's mouth looks creepy, like she has sharpened her teeth.

It made me smile. Thanks for doing this (your Rhiannon video post is great)...I love her look in this. After the guitar interlude I loved how when she started with the "oohs" she had covered her face completely for awhile. Really cool and a very intense performance.

I agree Curtis...GDW is kinda creepy...but she does rock it out...

I think she got ahold of them foreign stimulants and got wasted if you ask me :lol:

That performance has an almost sinister quality to it... it's very dark and moody. I don't think I've ever seen another performance of "Gold Dust Woman" with quite the same vibe.

Now if we could only get footage of it without that time counter!

I love the Japan video...The numbers are way annoying though.
Her hair is just awesome...Lindsey and his little fro shake when she does that "hey Heyyy hey yyyhhhheyyyy" long drawn out thing...Now THAT is Stevie Nicks.

I have a DVD of the Dec.5,1977 show without the timer and another version with the timer...Need to dig out the non-timer version and do some investigating.

Yeah, the non-timer version has "Oh Well" on it but the new one doesn't include that.

I goof up and make people laugh in the real world too. My role as a dork - I accept it.:)

I know! She is so dramatic here, whether it's the receptive crowd, or the black dress, the hair or the drugs, or all of it. I bet the crowd looked really cool to her through the stagelights and chiffon. She is really playing up the sexy witch!

I don't like the mega curlies on Stevie...Lindsey maybe, but not Stevie :laugh::p.

Oh, and Christine's crimped hair was THE WORST!! Blech!

I don't much, either. Her hair was great offstage, but she poofed it out for onstage, weirdly only for the Far East tour. Her hair was back to normal again for the 1978 shows. She looks great!

How high was she doing Rhiannon at that Japan show. WOW

I love the japan show from 77....its just awesome really....the Gold Dust Woman song sounds just like one of the outtakes on the rumours re-issue cd.....its almost eriee really....but its just great....I like stevies hair in this video better than the is it 75/76 midnight concert? she's all in the black chiffon outfit....I think her hair looks better curled than straight (booring to me)....anyway, the Rhiannon version is awesome too....esp when she names the birds colors... I'm having brain freeze right now and can't recall the colors....but its probably one of my favorite videos....I have the Japan tourbook with the color pics from this tour its great.....small but awesome....Christines hair is aweful too....In a previous post someone mentioned the tusk outtakes from the tusk video but I don't think I have those either? does sound interesting though to me.....anyway, love this video like I also like the belladonna video and the mirage one too....

It's too poofy, amber. Certain kinds of poof are good (like Wild Heart poof) but other kinds are not quite right (Far East 1977) & yet other kinds of poof are unspeakably foul (Mirror & Timespace poof).
Amber, can you put those up on YouSendIt for people? If you don't have in computer file format, I think I have a couple of them in Windows media format. One of them is intercut with scenes of Japanese people shopping.
