Sharon Osbourne Will Cut a Bitch

With words, of course.

http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=10235
http://people.monstersandcritics.com...slates_Madonna

Sharon Osbourne has launched into an astonishing foul-mouthed tirade against ageing pop comeback queen Madonna.

The 53-year-old X Factor judge issued an apparently unprovoked four-letter-word attack on the former queen of pop, suggesting that she has changed her image so often that she now doesn't know who she is.

In an interview with Word magazine, no part of poor old Madge's character was spared, with the flame-hared wife of rocker Ozzy attacking everything from her dress sense to her mothering skills.

'For f*ck's sake, who are you? At that age, you should know who you are, what bloody religion you are and what you represent,' she said.

Madonna's religion came in for particularly harsh criticism: 'One day you're in ****ing gun gear, then you're in horsing gear, then you dress like a ****ing dyke, then you dress like a hooker, then you're in a flowery dress reading kids' poetry looking like a ****ing librarian - then you're back looking like an old hooker again.'

“You can’t one day be in Horse and Hound magazine and the next in Dyke Weekly.”

Responding to the pop diva's recent revelation that she forbids her two children, Lourdes and Rocco, from watching TV, Sharon ranted: 'Oh that's ****ing ridiculous, crap, f*ck off - what a load of bollocks!'

On the topic of Madge's kids’ books, based on Kabbalah, she told Word magazine:

“Writing those painful, silly children’s books and reading them to your kids – if my mum came up to me with a book like that I’d say, ‘****ing stick it up your arse. ****ing ‘English Roses’ – bollocks.”

Right. Like why in the world would she care what religion Madonna belongs too?

Old news...old news...

I think I speak for most of the metalfans of the world when I say Sharon Osbourne needs to sit down before she falls down.

Used to like her but now she has ran her mouth too many times...Yeah, I am not a Madonna fan, but ya know Sharon doesnt generate any $$$ unless her jaw is unhinged (Sure cant generate $$$ from the former OZZY fans she has alienated with her $$$ grubbing BS antics)

I would love to have Sharon appear onstage someday so I can throw eggs at that worthless assmunch of a bitch the same way she orchestrated her pathetic & unprofessional BS behavior towards British metal legends Iron Maiden on their last date of the Ozzfest (The recent interview with Ozzy showed how clueless he is in regards to the egg incident, Seems his wife/manager didnt run that by him before hand....Didnt have a clue)

I think she was simply pointing out the ridiculousness of Madonna's publicity stunts. That's all she's really using Kabbalah for. Whether she believes all that **** or not, she's used it for another one of her famous makeovers.

Is it possible that she does believe it, and is just like that now, and so it informs what she does as a person and a performer? And that it's not a publicity stunt, it's just how she really feels, and so she talks about it? I mean, if people want to interview her and talk to her, isn't it natural that at least some of what she will talk about will reflect her beliefs? And that her performances will reflect what she feels and is concerned with now?
And I don't want my kids to watch TV, either.
Oh, and Sharon is a moron. Not that Madonna is some kind of super braniac, but still.

What's this egg incident? I remember there was an Iron Maiden issue with last year's Ozzfest but I never knew the story. Do tell..

I think they're both smart women.

I don't think that is why she started believing in it, to advance her career. And I think it's a publicity "stunt" only to the extent that everything Madonna has ever felt, done, been into, believed - essentially her whole life - has been for public consumption. But again, I don't think that is why she started believing it.
Do you? think they're both smart? I guess Sharon must be smart in some way, but it's not the way where she sounds smart to me. Not that I care. You probably know more about Sharon anyway.

I never said that she started getting into that stuff for career purposes. I said that while she probably believes all of it, she also uses it to benefit her career. Just look at her "Ray of Light" album, or how she sells Kabbalah bracelets, Kabbalah merchandise, and Kabbalah water at her concerts. Or that song "Isaac" on her new album.

I do think they're both very smart. Sharon runs the ship when it comes to Ozzy and look how well they've made out. Madonna's obviously smart and crafty when you look at how well her career has turned out.

cliffdweller 11-07-2005 04:54 PM

I think Sharon is smart...in the moneymaking sense just like Madonna. They are both publicity hounds, and in my opinion, Sharon is doing exactly what she is accusing Madge of, so I don't really get her beef. I mean, what does she care? All this aside, she DOES make me laugh and I generally agree with what she says :p .

I thought her new album would be released under her new name, Esther. Or is she not Esther anymore???

Yeah, you followed.
I think Madonna has always used everything she is for publicity, to advance her career. So to me, this is no worse or better. And it doesn't make me doubt any of her sincerity, as far as she is capable of it.

I never said it was any worse than any of her other publicity stunts, either. It's on the same level as all of her other stunts as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, they look more desperate as the years wear on, i.e. the lesbian kiss on the VMAs.

what? Oh, when I said "I know Madonna is smart" I was actually responding to when you answered me in your post before that, when you explained why you think both Sharon and Madonna are smart. I didn't ask you again. I just said "I know Madonna is smart". That's not a question.
*I'm confused*
anyway, I guess I just have a little bit different take on the level of madonna's sincerity, or maybe I have a different view of her "stunts" or exactly what she consciously tries to use as a "stunt", or if it's all as calculated as you make it seem, or something.

I get your point, though. :)

I don't think Madonna is as thorougly steeped in the study of Kabbalah as, say, Moshe Edel. But obviously it's something she thinks is interesting. I don't know whether her interest is scholarly or spiritual, or both, but it's a little odd considering Madonna has built a career & a life out of giving free rein to sexual & worldly desires, when Kabbalistic teachings urge people to a higher moral life through spirituality rather than physical desire. It's like Prince suddenly speaking out in behalf of the ascetic life of the monastery. But whatever floats Madonna's boat. A lot of Jews probably think it's also a little odd of Madonna to study Kabbalah without first studying Torah (assuming she hasn't or isn't).

Esther was never her "real" name....it's her religious name that she probably uses in that cult of hers.

Undoubtedly derived from the central figure in the Book of Esther, a portion from the third division of the Bible.

mikeschmike 11-07-2005 06:59 PM

Madonna is about as sincere as Stevie Nicks is selfless. I respect her for still going out there and making good music, but drop the whole serious side will ya? No one cares that you can "write a children's book", or that you sound British now. Just go into the studio, make your music, and call it a day. And lower your ticket prices for ****'s sake.
