Mick Wine Meet & Greet on 10/29

I am surprised no one has posted about this yet:

Mick will be at 2, maybe 3 Los Angeles area Gelson Grocery Stores this Saturday the 29th autographing his bottles of wine.

I'll post the location and time info this afternoon when I get the chance to ask my sources. However I am sure you guys will now call the stores and beat me to it lol.

wondergirl9847 10-26-2005 09:49 AM

AAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!!!

Say, what ever happened to that private drum lesson with Mick Fleetwood? Did some lucky person win that?

gldstwmn 10-26-2005 12:02 PM

We should compile a list of questions for some willing Ledgie to go ask him.

skcin 10-26-2005 12:05 PM

Tiff & Sparky are in LA, right? :D

Karlie 10-26-2005 01:37 PM

I live in LA. I'll go. :)

no_spoken_word 10-26-2005 02:37 PM

This would be the perfect time to ask about that rumoured Fleetwood Mac tour in 2006! (And what's Lindsey's plans are too.)

Richard B 10-26-2005 02:42 PM

I hope he appears at the Gelson's right near me!! I'll go and check it out.

According to Gelson's website, only 2 scheduled signings going on in North Hollywood (Yuck) and Century City.

Here's the schedule of dates and times:

David, I nearly spat my wine out over your signature!

catinthedark 10-26-2005 10:34 PM

OMG, I'd go ask Ledgie questions in a heartbeat! I'd be like, "yeah, great, wine, right. But what about another album? Yes, very rich flavours on my palette, sure. Any plans to tour again? Very fruity, I agree. Yeah, pour me another. And Lindsey? What's he up to? And Stevie?" *hiccup*

Perfect location for him.
That store is the home of the 7 dollar loaf of Wonder bread..:laugh

On edit...Noho and Century City ? Good God. 2 parts of LA I avoid. I'd really rather go to Noho if I had to pick one.

HomerMcvie 10-26-2005 11:43 PM

Does that mean he's already blown through his SYW dough? I told him they didn't need the orchestra!

Just getting to Century City is an epic nightmare. And once I do, the traffic is hideous, and most of the SUV's are driven by plastic surgery disaster Hollywood wives. I find the whole experience traumatic. In spite of the cool stores in the mall there. Actually, the Century City mall is the place in LA where I have seen the most plastic surgery. It is curious and shocking.
I should go more often, I just don't usually go west of Vine unless it involves an impressive paycheck.
No Ho is kind of dirty in spots, but there are some fun junk stores and always some artsy bohemian types doing something. Plus, hey, if I HAVE to go to a Gelsons, I will pick the one that is 15 minutes from my house:lol:

You're funny. NoHo is probably the better place to go actually now that I think about it. It will be probably be a shorter line.

ShangriLaTroubl 10-29-2005 01:11 PM

Man I hope the press doesn't pick up on this one!

"Mick Fleetwood, drummer for 70's rock supergroup Fleetwood Mac, will be in Gelson's grocery store this weekend signing bottles of wine--Everyone gets a free box of Depends with every Mick Fleetwood wine purchase!"

skcin 10-29-2005 01:44 PM

Anyone going? Please let us know how it goes.

I'm going. I'm really nervous; I don't know what to say. The last time I met him, I just said something like, "Hi Mr Fleetwood... um, can I have your autograph please? Thank you."

ShangriLaTroubl 10-29-2005 09:16 PM

Did anyone go, wasnt it today? reviews!

That's what I thought too. I think Stevie is probably already in Australia, though.

I went. Mick said Stevie is already in Australia. He also said that Fleetwood Mac will be touring in 2007 or the end of 2006.

He also mentioned a Lindsey solo tour. I doubt that will happen. I'll believe it when Gift Of Screws comes out.

He asked me how I heard about the meet and greet, and I said, "the internet," and his manager said "the Ledge?" It seemed like they didn't like the Ledge very much.

I was wearing my half moon necklace and he recognized it. :)

I think Mick's manager has a grudge against the Ledge because of the whole Johnathon Todd ordeal...
