Halloween Treats

Hi! Happy Halloween you ghouls, ghosts and witches. Here's a question...

Which Witch in film gave you the creepies?

My vote...Haggis the Witch from Pumpkinhead. Freaky.

Also...for silly fun the witches from Hocus Pocus.

And lastly (Just for fun)...a musical gift a DJ friend put together for Halloween which I want to share with you Ledgies...

Enjoy: http://homepage.mac.com/osxsurf/FileSharing3.html

Oddly, Candyman. But I haven't seen many horror flicks. Oops, wait, there's no witch there. sorry.
Uh...Watcher in the Woods? Does that count?
okay, I guess I just have to admit that I don't like horror and have little knowlege of it, especially in a witch reference way. How many movies really have witches, anyways?
Darn!
Okay, I choose Olivia de Havilland from "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte". It's the best I can do.
But if I really choose a witch movie, it has to be Witches of Eastwick, natch. :)

Nice song, thank you.

yeah, I did. Remember how, when you were growing up, you constantly heard "Monster Mash" on the radio around Halloween?
That song is what I wish I heard instead.

I'd have to go with Margaret Hamilton's Wicked Witch of the West. She isn't the scariest witch, but when I think of any "witch" she is the first one that pops into my mind.

As far as creepy witches, I would go with the Crone from Sleepy Hollow, and the Stigeon Witches from Clash of the Titans.

tHE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST?EAST

Oh, the answer has to be the wicked witch from the Wizard of OZ-
She was my original frightning witch.
When I think of evil witches I still picture her face.

"I'll get you, my pretty...and your little dog too!!" Scares me to death!!!!

Now...good witches I see Glinda, or Stevie...or me

I REMEMBER THAT EPISODE! That would have been great...

Did you like the Bewitched movie? I thought it was neat, even though some didn't like it.

I will too. I thought that it was one of the better "remakes" of older TV shows into a movie. They didn't "copy" or "pretend to be" the show. They just did a modern day version, BASED on the TV show...which the fully acknowledged to exist and we got to actually SEE Liz in the movie!

your right, i thought it was good also, it didn't get much time in the theaters here, i hope it does well in dvd sales tho~

It did fairly well in the theatres. I think it at least made its budget, in terms of profits. I think it will do better on DVD though. I think a lot of people wanted to wait until it was released on DVD to view it and judge for themselves.

Love this one. Anjelica Houston rocked this part.

Suspiria is a great film and I have it on DVD, but the witch to me was only so-so.
