Stevie Nicks Bizarro Survivor - FINALE!!!!

Hi Folks! With the Ledge offline and blah, blah, blah- we never got to the final round. So, here it is!

With thirteen votes, "Listen to the Rain" the Frontliner, the Gambler, the Phantom of the Opera, the victim who lives in dark shadows, putting it all on the line, coming up lucky all time, finds that there is no Beauty and the Beast here and she now knows the sound of her own door closing as she takes flight and leaves the island.

Good gawd, that song is a piece o' crap.

Onto the Finale!!!!

Finale - "Docklands"

Between the two, "Docklands" is a better song. The whole irony involved in "That Made Me Stronger" is just too much to handle.

Hello Stevie!!!! Tom Petty tells you how great you are and that you are good enough to write your own material and this is what you come up with??? Ludicrous.

I think it's priceless that Dissention actually voted for "Listen to the Rain" in a survivor game. Even in this one, I woulda thunk Joshie would have abstained. PRICELESS!!!!!

Docklands

I love Docklands and really dislike That Made Me stronger so not hard at all. I'm sad to see a song I adore so in the finale of the stinkers.

Docklands

At least her vocal was okay in Docklands

TMMS is her worse.

Note - edited to clarify - if editing is not allowed, then I withdraw my vote and you naysayers can kiss it :wavey:

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII BEG OF YOU!

Vote Docklands!

Ok, Docklands it is.

Docklands, natch.

YES!!!!!!

The Frontliner got to leave!!!! Kick ayess!!!! Well, it does get lucky every time!!!!

That Made Me Stronger

As much as i detest both of these songs, I have to say that I would much rather listen to "That made Me Stronger"... It's really not a bad song, it's just that "1" line that ruins it for me... "Docklands" has about 30 lines that ruin it for me... so umm, yeah.. "That Made Me Stronger" is the better of the two for me..

Final Round: That Made Me Stronger

Once more I tell the shadows of my soul to stay back

Yeah, that trumps the laundromat tripe.

Excuses, excuses. You're simply a lazy bitch.

Docklands

This is so funny. I have to vote Docklands to leave. Just for the irony that TMMS was about asking Tom to write a song with her, he said no, so she got someone else to write the music to this song ! She truly does not have any powers of self awareness at all.

At least I didn't vote for "Listen to the Rain"....

Ahem.
Desert.Angel.

:xoxo:

You voted for Desert Angel, Mr. Man. That disqualifies you from making any remarks about the votes of others...

"I was born in the desert, so I know how it feels there..."

What a cockadoodie "song."

a wasted vote... a heavy heart...

TMMS

i can't even come up with something quippy. Docklands just sucks terribly.

That Made me Stronger

Docklands.....

That Made me Stronger

...........................

Oh, pleeeazzzze... I don't think Stevie has any worse lyrics than these:

"Well you're a front liner...
You put it all on the line
And you're a gambler...
You turn lucky every time
Ooh, you're consistent...
Hey, and that's good
And you're persistent...
Well I am overcome

Well you're a victim...
Phantom of the opera
And you've been everywhere...
And you live in dark shadows
You do what you want to...
There's no Beauty and the Beast here
No...no...no...
There's no Beauty and the Beast here"

I mean, come on.

(:xoxo: )

Docklands. (Though I still think Operation Desert Shield! should have had the "honor" of winning)

Finale - Docklands

Finale Docklands

****************

That Made Me Stronger

MUCH better than ****ty Docklands

"That Made Me Stronger"

Sure, it doesn't have the best chorus, but the verse and bridge lyrics more than make up for that.

I love both of these, but I think That Made Me Stronger is a little bit better.

Finale - That Made Me Stronger

I like both "Docklands" & "TMMS" actually.

"Thousand Days" & "Listen To The Rain" should have been the ultimate finalists in my perfect little world.

Docklands...

...made me stronger and tmms just sucks!

Docklands

..............

Finale: "Docklands".

Ah, no more typing it to the title box after this. :blob2:

Finale

'That Made Me Stronger'. But just barely.

I've always wanted to ask you why you have baby jane area Joan Crawford as your avatar. It makes me smile. Even though she's really ugly.

Finale: That Made Me Stronger

It's not that bad! Compare this to WISYA. No comparison!

I've always been interested in old movie stars, and Joan fascinates me the most, what with all the "Mommie Dearest" stuff (Not to mention some great films). I think she was hot in her prime, and definitely not ugly as she got older, just crazily exaggerated. :D The eyebrows and lips? Mesmerising!

That's very cool. I feel the same way about Bette Davis. But I've always thought Joan was ugly. But the eyebrows and lips could be mesmerizing, I suppose.
Anyway, it always makes me happy when your avatar pops up. :)

That Made Me Stronger

I like the music. I thought it would come down to Jane and Docklands.

That Made Me Stronger

If only for the line:

"Once more I tell the shadows of my soul to stay back."
