Tango mixes

Seven Wonders (alt)

Some different vocals, more bass, more "tropical"

Isn't It Midnight

I always wondered why the alternate version of Isn't It Midnight on The Chain box set sounded so choppy. My, this album was sure enroute to World Musicville.

I really enjoyed the Jellybean version of LITTLE LIES that was like 6 minutes long. Stevie had some pretty cool vocal parts at the very end that should've been on the album version!

Yup. Her best line was, "tell me lies, WHOA!"

When I See You Again

Different ending.

Wotsa Matta Baby

Everywhere

I can't figure out if this version is paying homage to medieval times or the conga.

Everywhere (1/17/87)

This is far better than the box set version!

The album version still walks all over both of them though... ;)

see this is why i love u people

you guys are as whacko as i am, and because you all dig deep looking for FM ****, i got to hear those. I've never heard the vers of Evywhre or IIM.

Very cool

Alexbt 10-12-2005 11:34 PM

Wow... Isn't it Midnight... It's cool... But the vocals don't exactly match the band. Seems like they were doing a lot of experimenting.

How about "Family Man"? Can anyone post the mixes for those? There are 3 mixes on the 12" that are similar. Side A had 2 mixes that ran about 8 min long. Side B has another mix that was about 6 min long and is kind of similar to the mixes on side A, but it featured even more vocals from Stevie that are not on side A.

If anyone can post those, that would be great .....

They did go crazy with the Family Man remix 12"...lot's of versions, including bonus beats. I have it, but have not ripped them from vinyl yet. Will post when I complete them.

Thanks, SpyNote!

I like this, but is there is a glitch in this mix? At one point it seems like the song ends, around 3:45, but then it sounds like it jumps back into the song again.

I posted my Little Lies and Family Man 12" singles on Ebay this past Sunday. They are in mint condition with beautiful sleeves. I only played them a few times, because I eventually bought some other copies which I would listen to from time to time. They have been carefully stored in plastic since. If anyone is interested, check them out. I am selling both on one listing. :wavey:

They sound funky.

I think that version of "Everywhere" may be from 1-17-86 rather than 1-17-87. At least that is how I have that version labeled on my computer. TITN was released in April 1987, so I am thinking January 1987 is too close to be realistic.

David, I love your sig. "Give me your ****!"
