Stevie before and after TODAY

We-ell, as promised, here are my Today shots. It was still dark during the soundcheck, so the pics are a bit grainy. Plus I had to resort to digital zoom for a couple... Stevie, you know we only do this because we loves ya! :wavey:

What great pics! Thanks for posting!

Dreammms 09-28-2005 10:18 PM

Ed~these are fabulous!!!! Thanks so much for taking them.

I totally love the BEFORE Stevie pics. Her outfit is very cool and she looks smoking.

Funny facial expressions lol

markolas 09-28-2005 10:21 PM

Keeping in mind that she is almost 60 years old, she doesn't look terrible. Definitely looks her age, though. And is it really cold enough in New York for that coat?? My god, it's been almost 110 degrees here for the last week.

Wow- I'm speechless. I always thought I'd be able to recognize her without makeup if I saw her on the street, but looking at those photos proved otherwise.
I loved how you deemed the other ones "cooked".

golddustorm 09-28-2005 10:23 PM

I LOVE the "before" pictures. She looks totally bad-ass with those glasses on. And, I LOVE the casual ponytail (minus the bad scrunchie).

Of course she looks stunning in the "after" photos too. When isn't she gorgeous?!

diamondsnake 09-28-2005 10:24 PM

She actually looks older then 60 in some of the no makeup pictures to me. But then in other no makeup pictures she looks rather good. Her makeup artist must be a miracle worker though because I had no idea she looked like that in real life.

Well, at first I thought the turkey neck had come back... but in fact they look like wisps of her "golden hair." :) Unfortunately I think it still makes her look worse than she really did. Considering the lack of proper lighting, I thought she held up pretty well to scrutiny. I think most women would love to look like that at 6:30 in the morning.

Johnny Stew 09-28-2005 10:26 PM

She looks her age... maybe a couple years younger... but that's nothing shocking/surprising to me.

Being surrounded by women (my mother and all of my aunts) who are approx. Stevie's age, and seeing them both with and without makeup, this is exactly what I would expect Stevie to look like.

Thanks for posting the pics, Ed. :wavey: :)

That's because you're, like, 12. ;)

danax6 09-28-2005 10:28 PM

Wow, fabulous, fabulous coat she is wearing. I am in love! :blob1:

But damn, she wears a lot of make-up.

diamondsnake 09-28-2005 10:28 PM

I wonder if Stevie knows people were snapping photos of her with no makeup on? I'm just suprised she went out there like that considering all those rumours about how she demanded filters and proper lighting for the Destiny Rules Doc.

ontheEdgeof17 09-28-2005 10:30 PM

Make a few bucks and sell them to Celebrities Without Makeup.

...She doesn't look bad at all. Sure, her face droops a little.....that's understandable. I do wish she would lighten up on the makeup...looks too cakey and thick. Natural is beautiful......just look at Lindsey and his face.

I agree.

My dad was born the same month and year as Stevie. And my mom and aunts are all right around Stevie's age.
I know what 57 looks like without makeup!

Ahem... 17 actually!

But, compared to other people I know in their 50's and 60's she doesn't look as good sans makeup (at least in that third shot down- her skin just looks really soft). But with makeup, she looks better then most 40 year olds I know.

Did you ever see the pic of her without make-up from the Silent Night rehearsal? It still haunts me.

She doens't look too bad in those photos, especially for her age, but she's had a bit of help so it's understandable.

Again, I don't think she is as vain as people seem to think... There were definately alot of people out there today during soundcheck and cameras were completely allowed.. If she was so concerned about how she looked, she would have at least kept the sunglasses on... In a way, I think she is proud to look the way that she does without makeup at almost 60 years old...

I don't think she looks her age AT ALL... Have you seen some 60 year old women without makeup before? Not even taking wrinkles into account, they don't look half as good as Stevie.. ;)

He slaps on the make-up as heavily as Stevie does.

You guys all made such a big deal about that pic, it was mind-boggling.

She looked like a 50-something woman with no makeup... little color in her complexion and smallish eyes.

Maybe I've just never seen a 60 year old woman without makeup before. I do have to admit, I'm a little shocked by these Stevie photos. I can't help it!

It was mind-boggling because the make-up makes such a striking difference. She's a bit unrecognizable without all that make-up.

I still think she looks fantastic for age, but the make-up works miracles.

The people you know in their 50s and 60s must be nuns. I think she looks really good if you take into account the fact that she spent so many years drinking, smoking, and snorting. :)

Most of the people in my family have lived hard (as in, lots of drinking, smoking, etc.)...at 65, my great aunt could've passed for 80.

See I think the silent night pics are worse. She looks a hundred times better in these pics.

No, where?

I think she looks okay without make-up, nothing shocking there. I am just amazed at the transformation she goes through for a performance. She almost doesn't look the same anymore. But that goes for a lot of people. Even people 30 years younger than her.

Well the only person I'm really comparing her to is my Grandmother and my next door neighbor. I can't swear that I have seen these people without makeup though, so it might not be fair to compare them! They could never look as stunning as Stevie does, even with all that makeup, though.

Well, don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing that there isn't a striking difference. But that's pretty much the point of makeup.

The majority of women Stevie's age wouldn't be caught dead in public without at least some makeup, and there's a reason why they feel that way.

I think she is wearing a little something-something in these pics....her face complexion looks totally even and soft....which is prolly not the full case...I think she has a little foundation on or something like that.

I agree. Like I said before, without the makeup I would have never recognized her, but she does look very good for her age. My mother is the same age as Stevie and Stevie blows my Mom away (sorry Mom - not like she'd ever see this)
