OH-kay, how's THIS? :D

1.) Some or most of her work is influenced by Oscar Wilde

and Edgar Allan Poe, in addition to Joni Mitchell

2.) She's very, very intelligent and has a very high I.Q.,

although she probably has no plans to study higher math

at MIT any time soon! . . . .

3.) She has gorgeous long, blonde, flowing hair.

4.) She's a very nice person, but uhhh - don't piss her off.

5.) She's kinda uhhmmm . . . "Spiritual!"

6.) She's got a big heart.

7.) She's a "leader" by temperament, and kinda extroverted

although she has a "shy" and "nervous" side.

8.) She's sorta kinda prolific.

9.) She . . . kinda seems to LIKE . . . TWIRLING!

10.) She's a "go getter" and a long-distance winner.....

LongBlackScarf 09-21-2005 12:21 AM

She doesn't know from "paper and plastic".

She sees Haunted Amoires. Or...she DID anyway.

She got her first guitar at 16.

Her favorite number is "3".

Favorite Painter: Salumith Wolfgang

Her favorite place to write is in her bed. Which may explain quite a LOT!! Heee!! :p

She looks beautiful with her hair up.

She prefers to pay with cash.

She bedazzles jewels to her dogs heads.

She likes blue eyed men....according to her lyrics!

SandyMac 09-21-2005 05:59 AM

LikeAWillow 09-21-2005 07:09 AM

LongBlackScarf 09-21-2005 10:29 AM

GarboSpeaks! 09-21-2005 04:59 PM

Stevie Is a Gemini (thru & thru)

Posed topless (sorta) for her first album cover photo-shoot.
(And hated every minute of it)

Detests green. ( )

Was legally married once. (2 points here) is a legit "divorcee."

( wanted to ask, is her fav # really 3, or was that a result of BD hitting the 3 million mark in sales? That's why I always thought she favored the #, and had the necklace made. Didn't think from the get-go of life it was a fav. # ????)

Oh yea, and can't program her VCR for the love of all that is Holy.

Don't forget air lasso.

Oh...the doctor looked up her nose during RAL, said "you could have a brain hemorrhage, and it could be the very next time you do coke, and it won't be pretty, and it won't be nice, and it will be painful." So then she realized she was going to have to stop doing drugs, or else she wouldn't be alive to "Rock a Little" anymore. :D

SapphireSister 09-21-2005 06:09 PM

She will only wear red underwear, no other color.

Stevie makes great coffee ( see Tusk Documentary - LOL )

Stevie will write that tell-all book one day! ( hopefully I will still be alive to read it, never mind if who shes telling on is alive-LOL!)

Stevie has tremendous stage fright and likes to have a shot of brandy just before going out onstage ( can anyone confirm that this ritual is still taking place?- I read it in the TISL interviews )

I don't know if that's true, but I thought it'd be funny to imagine Stevie with stanky feet. Because as we all know, and this is rote knowledge:

She never uses the bathroom nor gives off any noxious fumes!

The Joni Mitchell reference is from the oft-coveted book "Everything You Want To Know About Stevie Nicks".

From BAM Magazine, September 1981:

"BAM: I can't spot many specific influences in your songwriting. Who were you listening to when you started writing a lot?

Stevie Nicks: Well, I've written for years and been influenced by lots of people, but I guess the stuff that really go me was Joni Mitchell's early songs. I learned so much from listening to her. In fact, I probably wouldn't be doing this if it hadn't been for her. It was her music that showed me I could say everything I wanted to and push it into one sentence and sing it well. Ladies of the Canyon taught me a lot. I remember lying on the floor, listening to Joni's records, studying every single word. When she came out with a new album I'd go crazy--"Don't bother me this week. I'm listening to Joni Mitchell."

BAM: The inspiration was more attitudinal than actual?

Stevie Nicks: Right. I didn't want to play music like her. I couldn't if I'd wanted to--I can't play the guitar worth ****, and Joni's a great player.'

I didn't even know she KNEW that word!!!

I think maybe she's planning to do this

OH-kay, so here's some MORE! :)

She works out on a treadmill and does Pilates to keep in shape.

She's REALLY strong, physically.

She KINDA likes to TWIRL, just a wee bit. . . .

She has some sort of vision problem and can barely see the audience

on stage, due to the bright lights.

ANY guy in her house is banished to the front of it when she's swimming

in her swimming pool. She doesn't want anyone to see her wearing

a swimsuit, no matter who it is.

She uhhhh - KINDA needs to take a spelling class! :xoxo:

She has or has had some kind of cool typewriter that types all in

italics.

She can bake a mean pumpkin pie, tune a piano, slap a guy across the

face, heal a wound, burn "Soundstage" onto a DVD, and program an

I-Pod, all on the same day.

She KINDA LIKES Phoenix.

She kinda-sorta-maybe likes Lindsey Buckingham, just a whole lot.

She was Popular in High School.

She LOVES Mabel Normand ( an old Silent Film star ).

She's ready for her close-up.

She owns, believe it or not, lots of "normal" clothes

She's cool as hell.

She owns a rose garden and acres of land.

She plays a mean game of tennis and golf.

She knows some sort of weird kung fu thingy and can kick your ass.

She owns a top-hat or two.

If you're ever in Vegas in the next few years, you might be able to

get in to a high-stakes Poker game against her.

You'll lose.

She can "walk like an egyptian!"

Number One Fact!

Here is one no one has mentioned....

She loves Lindsey Buckingham

Always has- always will and the feeling is mutual..

They know that is is destiny for them to be together throughout
this life and they have been, in one way or another.
They are:

Ying/Yang
East/West
Moon/Sun
Left/Right
Up/Down
Lovers/Fighters
Dreamers/Do -er's

Mirror reflections of each other

That's my fact and I am sticking to it!

WelshWitchPMD 09-22-2005 06:51 AM

She loves men. Really loves men. ;)

Ghost_Tracker 09-22-2005 07:29 PM

HERE'S one nobody's mentioned yet! . . . .

She plays the guitar riff from Edge of Seventeen on

"Bootylicious."

STUNNINGLY WELL, in my opinion!

I felt her PRECISION was just . . . AMAZING!

But then again, it IS her RIFF!

OH, also, she liked to watch "The Muppet Show" in the 70s,

Star Trek: The Next Generation during the 80s, and Judging Amy now.

And fairly recently read a book called "Wheel of Fortune" -

all 780 PAGES of it or whatever it was!

And somewhere buried deep inside a drawer in her bedroom,

under piles of old socks and legwarmers, is a pair of Wayfarers.

HAHA!

Dreammms 09-22-2005 07:32 PM

You sure she isn't just air guitaring to Waddy??

She can starch & iron 2 dozens shirts 'fore you can count from 1 to 9.

She can scoop up a great big dipper full of lard from the drippins can,
