Awww...too cute! I love that little tiny kitten on the top of the page. It looks like mine when he was sweet and innocent! :D

ontheEdgeof17 08-30-2005 07:27 PM

Where are the kitty in the blender photos? (I kid.)

Some of those cats are cute...some are fugly.

Violet 08-30-2005 08:07 PM

How cute!!! What the heck is it about sinks that cats like? One of our cats (Violet) likes to sleep in the sink; the other (Beavis) doesn't. But that could be because Beavis is too fat to jump up onto the counter!

When I saw the title "Kitties in sinks" I thought it was going to be something disgusting like "kitties in the pool" and I was like ewwww, should I look? Why is my mind always in the gutter? Sorry, I'm not turning this adorable thread into something gross. Those pictures are so cute, I showed them to my daughter. We have 2 tabby kittens and there always sleeping together (not in the sink yet) but every where else.

lbelle1214 08-30-2005 08:33 PM

That's WAAAY too cute! But I bet they wouldn't be there if there were any water in them! I had a cat that loved to jump in the tub...maybe because the porcelain is cool...or he thought he was hiding. He got a surprise one day when my daughter had left the tub full after bathing her kids the night before. I've never seen a cat move so fast...in & out...looked like all one motion!!

If I were wearing a fur coat in this heat and humidity I'd plonk myself in a nice, cool porceline sink, too. My butt's too big, unfortunately. I suppose a cure for sink-dwelling kitties in summertime is to shave one's pussy. :D But that's another thread, folks!!

It's all cute until somebody turns on the disposal.

Hehe, too cute :D
My two don't lie in there but they do try to drink from the tap. It's gotten so bad that each time I enter the bedroom (they drink from my bedroomsink) they jump into the sink.

Our cats used to take "drinkies from the sinkie" too. It can be a sign of kidney trouble in older cats. They try to drink as much water as they can hold. Now about "Milton"...he seems to be taking a lot of prescription meds with his Evian. :D

My two aren't that old yet, 4 and 5.. but I do keep an eye on one of them, I noticed she had a urine smell on her the other day. They're both very fit and acting normal though, so I hope it's nothing!

WELSH WITCH 08-31-2005 12:26 PM

That is so cute.
I never cought any of my cats in the sink. One of them does like clean laundry though.

SuzeQuze 08-31-2005 12:27 PM

This site is so cute, thanks for sharing, it was a great way to start the day. I had a cat who loved to jump into the sink and then paw at it really fast, as though its slippery surface were a kitty treadmill! It was really cute. Mufasa loves to drink from the tap so I leave that on a little for him sometimes so he can drink from it. It is so cute. :)

The water here is so hard it turns my poor cat's bowl yellow after one week. Evian is the only solution! lol. As for the meds, that's nothing. That was back when I was only taking 300 mgs of Lamictal a day for my epilepsy. Now I take almost double that. Luckily, Milton has only needed to take pills for those worms that come back every so often!

sodascouts 08-31-2005 04:11 PM

These photos are all so adorable!

storm 08-31-2005 05:50 PM

what? No cats in toilets?

DavidMn 09-01-2005 06:17 PM

that's so funny, because I have several pictures of my cat in the sink. There's just something so adorable about that. :xoxo:

Sink Cats

I had cats (years ago )
And they, (2 of them , an older female and a younger male)...used to LOVE to get baths in the Kitchen sink.
No bathroom sinks for these guys.
It was my big double porcelin sink in the kitchen that they would run to....

Cat's are just crazy  Clean....but crazy

DavidMn 09-01-2005 07:10 PM

Big cat guy here. Like dogs, but love cats. Plus more apartment will allow you to have cats.

That's a bummer. What city do you live in? Here, they will let you have one cat in most places.
