How much time do you devote to Fleetwood Mac?

I thought ti would be interesting to get poeples thoughts on this. I realize most of have families and children or jobs or something else that occupies alot of our time. For me, It's weird because I pretty much share the same interest in Major League Basebaal that I do Fleetwood Mac if you can believe that. Also, work comes in to the picture too. I have alot of admiration for fans that have their various sites and message boards too. I dont know how I'd do that. LoL for me just listening to them is a full time job sometimes, but a great opne though for sure...... :]

I would say, on average, between listening to Fleetwood Mac/solo projects on CD or vinyl, posting on The Ledge, playing Mac songs on my guitar, and reading about them online, in magazines, or in books, I devote about an hour a day. Some days it is more than that, and some days it is less.

WAY more time than would be generally accepted as "healthy". :] :blob2:

gldstwmn 08-22-2005 03:52 PM

Probably more than I should.

I definitely agree with that! :)

mylittledemon 08-22-2005 03:53 PM

I don't listen to them as much as I used to. And if you mean how many times do I actually pull out a Mac CD and pop it in the CD player? I would say 2-4 times per week. I think I spend more time overall playing their songs on my guitar.

Well, my iPod goes where I go, so I hear the Mac all the time. And I'm on The Ledge more times than I am not, so I'd say about 80% of my day has something to do with the Mac.  ;)

Not as much...

as you'd believe...Times change as does my taste in music (Though I did listen to SYW today on the way/from the hospital for Deb's procedure.)

ontheEdgeof17 08-22-2005 05:49 PM

I listen to about 3-4 CDs a day....FM or FM-related artist.

....and I search and post on the Ledge too too much.

WildInTheWind 08-22-2005 06:30 PM

I don't listen to them as much as I did at one point. I would say between burning CDs, posting, and listening....MAYBE and hour a day. It really depends how much I am in my car (when I usually get my Stevie fix) and how many trades I have going on at a given moment. It varies really. Not as much as I did about a year ago though!

WelshWitchPMD 08-22-2005 07:04 PM

Well, I don't really listen to any music anymore. I spend way too much time here on The Ledge, however. I am burning a ton of stuff for some trades right now, also.

GODDESS6 08-22-2005 07:15 PM

i spend entirely way too much time, but it is what i love so what the hell~ it's like when a stevie/fm song comes on the radio, my son knows who it is just after hearing very few notes  , can you say... he can name that song in 2 notes, damn where is name that tune when you need it   ~

Dark Angel 08-22-2005 07:19 PM

In the past 6-7 months, a lot more than I should.

Dreammms 08-22-2005 09:14 PM

Between the ledge, trading, listening to their music, email list, etc. I spend tons of time lol

HomerMcvie 08-22-2005 09:19 PM

I spend more time here than listening. Today, I listened to Mystery To Me, and some odds and ends(I always fill up a copied CD with out takes, etc...), to use up the 80 minutes.
The Ledge is my real addiction!

Me, too. Totally. I listen to them in the car or on my portable CD player (yes, I'm still lost back in the stone ages), but hardly ever at home. But The Ledge? I check every morning, and every night - more when I'm on a day off (which right now is far too often). I check other sites, too, briefly, but the majority of time is spent here catching up... I am addicted in that I don't want to miss anything about them - be it a new demo, a new piece of info about an album, a tour, etc.

Miss Vicky 08-22-2005 10:09 PM

I actually don't really devote any time to Fleetwood Mac anymore, unless you count time spent on this board. But then again, I primarily post in the Chit Chat forum so even that is questionable. Maybe when there's something new from the band or from one of the members I actually care about (Lindsey Buckingham, Billy Burnette) I'll get really interested again, but not at the moment.

GypsyNomad 08-22-2005 10:29 PM

more during the summer than the school year i guess.... i listen to music all the time, but my daily dvd/concert watching days will be over sadly when school starts, & replaced w/ all-nighters & pots of coffee :( .... "all work & no play makes Carei a very frazzled little girl" (did i mention i'm a workaholic? )

Red 08-22-2005 11:02 PM

....far too much time than any normal person should, but I'm not as bad as I was a year or two ago with the SYW tour. I imagine a lot of us are in the same boat. :woohoo:
