It is from a Rolling Stone phto book. I have it somewhere - of course :laugh:

I love the angle (Ritts I think) caught her in. It is so different than any of her other pics.

I love it when you see a photo and it really hits you just how beautiful she is. For me, that picture does it :nod:

I don't like the hair, the pose, or the shoulder pads. :sorry:

But the lips Curtis! Omg, look at the lips :laugh:

Whenver I see that pic, I think of the pic that is either on the back or like the following page of that of Etta James, w/ all her dogs on her lap, and one is licking her face. Just wrong. I recall getting that RS for that pic, and then seeing that EJ one, and just focusing on it. Stupid sure.

That is one pic right before, during or VERY shortly after the Clinton Inaguration. One of the few pics of that "era" that does her justice. And it is indeed a Ritz pic.

I think she looks fantastic in it - but to each their own :D

Whenever I see that pic, I think of the picture in that RS issue right before, and facing, Stevie's.

It was Dennis Wilson, and he has a similar spaced-out look. And as you go through the issue, you suddenly realize that Stevie's and Dennis's are the only 2 pics like that.

Coincidence? Or sly editorial photo placement?

I don't know - I don't really like it all that much :sorry: Her expression - something about it - I can't put my finger on it - but it's not one of my favorites...

I never cared for that pic either. :shrug:

I don't particularly like it, either. The close up of it on Ebay is better than looking at it small, but the hair and shoulder pads ruin it for me. She just looks....strange. :shrug:

I hate that hair. The photo is okay, though, it's strange, and I never see stevie like that, which is nice. Her face looks pretty, but that swept back thing doesn't cut it for me.

I don't like the picture either.

I love it because it looks so different from a lot of her pictures...chin down, wide eyes on the camera, lips slightly parted is sort of her standard photo look. Not that there's anything wrong with that, she's quite photogenic. But this is so uniquely beautiful. And yessss, the lips!!! Yowza!

I don't like that one. She looks like she's trying to catch flies with her mouth open like that.

I'm not a fan of that pic at all. I remember when that came out in RS and I thought to myself that Stevie looks so fat and long in the tooth, especially with her hair pulled back like that.
