what stevie song is on your voicemail?
 

I thought this would be an interesting subject. I had Sara on mine for like a year, but with my recent back problem, I switched it to Battle Of the Dragon. I'm curious as to what others have?

None on my voicemail, but when my home phone rings it plays the song Edge. First few bars and words. It's actual Edge, too, a recording.

I've had Leather and Lace, Goodbye Baby, Landslide (dance version), Secret Love (demo), Silver Springs, I just changed it from Doing the Best that I Can (Escape from Berlin) and right now I have Fire Burning the part that goes "So cry for me take a little time and then stop, its just something that you cannot see so stop!"

besides being one of my favorite stevie songs, i also believe that it is very very fitting for a phone hehe

I also have no Stevie on my phones.....the house phone isnt mine to Stevie-fy and my mobile is waaayyy to complicated to try and put something other than a "ring ring" on it. :(

Maybe I should start answering the phone by singing random Stevie lyrics, only those who recognise them are allowed to talk to me, maybe?! :D

none...Hell, My name isnt even on my voicemail answering service.

Before I got married, I used to record parts of Stevie demos on my answering machine. I would to use the intense vocal parts...without alot of music so it wouldn't sound too muffled. The accapella demos were great for this.

The "non-Stevie" people thought it was odd, but my "Stevie friends" would call to check it out on a regular basis! :o

I didn't realize people still put songs on their voice mails. I thought it was all about downloading ringtones. I wonder if any Stevie songs are available for download via Verizon. I just like the plain old ring, nothing fancy.

I do however remember back in the 80's my mom had "Let's Wait a While" by Janet Jackson on our answering machine for about 2 years. Fun times!

Instead of having a Stevie song on my vm I'll just ask Stevie to record my message and say "Hi, this is Stevie Nicks. Lindsay can't answer her phone right now but she'll call you back when and if she feels like it".

Hi, this is Stevie Nicks. The person that you are calling is not at home right now. If you leave a message at the sound of the tone, you can talk to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I don't have a Stevie song on my phone but I have played around with the idea of Talk to Me (the natural choice I guess). One of these days.

where did you get little lies? I have verizon and I couldn't find it on the sony music box or verizon. Is it on that other one?? can't think of the name of it... :( they didn't have stevie OR Fm...how can that be?!! :shrug:

I've tried to dowload a ringtone. Can't. I'm that stupid. Voicemail - I haven't a clue what's there. Guess I should check...

I would say it's because stevie's management can't / won't agree on terms to the licensing rights. There's big money to be made off ringtones .

For my ringtones, I have Don't Stop for txt messages and YMLF for calls.

My phone is totally Stevie-fied. The background is her and Lindsey holding hands and it says Buckingham Nicks. The ringer is Little Lies (Okay, not Stevie, but that's okay.) and the voicemail is her little "Hello, you have reached Stevie Nicks" that thing. People think I'm nuts when they call and get the voicemail!

How did you manage to get it on there? I tried but the thing was so fuzzy sounding.

I'm pissed. I have Cingular and I have hunted and hunted for ANY Stevie or Fleetwood Mac ringtones...aside from polyphonic but can't find any. Are there sites that offer them without going through your carrier's site? I am desperate to get a Stevie ringtone...help!

I have a Beautiful Child verse recorded from Boston dvd, coming out from my cell phone everytime I switch it on. The part ...'there's so little time'', is very useful and reminds me to rush wherever I have to go because surely I'm late. :nod:

I can put mp3's on my phone and use them as ringtones, so I have EO17 as my realtone/ringtone. The entire version. :D So, sometimes I just let it ring for the heck of it and only pick up at the very last moment. And I wonder why people stopped calling me... ;)

I couldn't find any FM or Stevie ringtones, but I have Heart's "Crazy On You" as mine. :)

what kind of phone do you have and who is your carrier?

I have a Motorola Razor and have Cingular...anyone know if I can create my own ringtones?

I've had the same proble, Jaz. No Stevie tunes. I tried to download a Chris Mac tune (Think Aout Me, I think) and even that didn't work.
