Vegas Review. No, really. Not Paula's "review."
review by curtis, ken, allison, jason, brian, sandor, and me...
dear sweet paula, we love you but feel that your "review" fell a bit flat. oh, and that you stole a bit too much of our thunder. missy. the gays aren't happy with you. oh, and i've got you beat. i've got FIVE in one hotel room, i hear you didn't. jealous much? they bought me pasties but curtis got his hands on them first. pix to follow. paula's a gay-baiter? welllllll, i don't think you do! we had a great time with seeker jim at dinner beforehand, he was in Ledgie Land (Orch3). also, hi kimberly :wavey: first of all, we were the only fans there. ledgies, rocked. everyone else, not so much. when Bootylicious started, all ledgies were standing and NO ONE ELSE bothered to get up. RE the setlist: the same as the first round of Vegas shows but with R&R instead of INTK Landslide was dedicated to the Colosseum because 'it started it all'... whatever. Bootlylicious is tired, we're not ready to hear more about her jelly. evah. it's six minutes in which jason believes she could sing (croak) Talk to Me. Deep Dish Dreams, jason and curtis did us proud dancing to this one. ah the moth. there's this bizarro moth on the screen at the end of GDW. we're all creeped out by it. end of GDW was fairly excellent. i'll post a clip of this. Stand Back - great amount of titty shaking. fabulous high kick. see clips. best performance of the tour IMO. furious twirling. Jana did not suck once tonight. she also has three knees. stage lighting or extra bones? never can be sure... Lori looked good, still wearing those fugly ass bedazzled velveteen leggings with the leather jacket. whatevah. she smiled when i smiled and curtie drew a little heart in the air and she patted her chestal area in response. thanks, lori. Sorcerer was great. new hand gestures. she did the I Can't Wait dance. homegirl twirled the whole night. Stand Back, GDW, HSML. greatness. Rock & Roll. fabulocity to the max. she started it off with a high kick and didn't look back. TAMBO TOSS. lots of hip action just for amber. also must mention that she bent over to put something on the drum riser, let's just say that (sandor says) that she may not be able to keep her notes up but she can raise her ass pretty high in the air. hotness. brit may have this on film. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...RRFABULOUS.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...x/RRfabhat.jpg her ear piece blanked in the middle of HSML and she was unpleased to the max. she turned to someone in the wings and wildly gestured and mouthed 'i have nothing' and continued. did it again with 'i can't hear any thing' but rocked nonetheless. she was pissed... GDW howling was fantastic. Edge of Seventeen: greatness. very much greatness according to jason. security was a bitch. there were at least ten guards on the stage steps and were literally walking in front of her so a lot of people got passed over. however, everyone but brian got some stevie love. wait, no that's wrong. he got love too. this was ken's first time, awwww. someone got himself a meet/greet pass (slut) and will tell you alllllll about it in a new thread. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...06Edgelean.jpg ps, cute little blonde Jessie is no more. she has been replaced by a ripped off ashlee simpson. still cute and little, though. if you're reading this: we love you dear, but go back to the light side. NO TEARS AT THE END! me and curtis were hoping for waterworks of epic proportions. stevie must have been pissed about her ear piece cutting out earlier and held it together. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...x/DSCN0847.jpg stevie nicks' weight loss tips: jazzercise to your own song. turn back on audience. dramatically punch and march. repeat frequently much the dismay of your fans who know not what the hell you are doing. paula, we love you. |
a few clips, more to follow when i get home:
Stand Back - HIGH KICK Stand Back - tits+twirls Landslide |
Glad it was a good time, but we need to hear more about this meet and greet (either they post soon or you totally have the right to steal their thunder, that's the way the rules work). And I'm guessing no Without You/Frozen Love Acoustic? :( When will Stevie learn that we just know what's best?

Thanks for the clips. Either she's happy, or just happy that it's over. Now she can take the rest of the year off and relax. I'm somewhat depressed this tour has come to an end and I wish she'd just keep going.....forever. THANK YOU Stevie and all the boys and girls in the band! I had a BLAST with this tour! Let's do it again real soon!! :blob1: :blob1: :blob1:

Those are awesome! Thank you so much. That first picture of the side view of Stevie from R&R with the hat & feather and the long blonde hair with the one leg up with the pants is soooooo gorgeous! She looks so hot there. So rockin. Thanks for sharing. You guy's are the greatest! :xoxo:

Hey thanks for the great review. Glad you guys all had such a great time. I love the Stand Backtwirls clip. Not so much the twirls but all the titty action before. HOT STUFF.
|
I wonder if Stevie practices her twirls at home? mmmm pondering minds want to know. :) I bet while she is twirling, she is on cloud 9 because she knows how it revs up the audience.
Thanks for the great pics, clips, and review. |

Hmmm. I actually think quite the opposite. I sort of think she is thinking "Why oh why, do I have to twirl like this as a 57 year old woman? Why can't they just like me for my voice?" Don't get me wrong, I do think she enjoys twirling, dancing and shaking her ass SOME of the time. However, she pretty much has to do it every single night, or so she thinks, to please fans. Crap, I sound like a Debbie Downer. Sorry! Mariel, your clips are outrageous. I LOVE the Landslide one. I am impressed, Jana does not appear to be overpowering the star. Perhaps she has listened to one of the shows and heard herself more than Stevie and it dawned on her?? I adore Sharon, I adore Lori, I really liked Mindy.....Jana..not so much. (I like her voice, I just do not like how she overpowers Stevie....ALL. THE...TIME... It's Stevie's show, K? |
thanx for the hilarious review, sooooo glad you guys had a great time!!! :] ~

...and Lori sang from IAF, onward....glad to have her back on Edge of 17! Oh, and I'm back....safe and sober. :) |
i just got home and am not really in the mood to post more pix/clip at this moment. but there are more. oh, and i lost all of the clips. no longer on my camera. thankfully, they're all on jason's computer so i won't have to DL my own stuff.
i'm glad everyone was able to see how fabulous she was, i've never seen her like this before (and sadly, it looks like it will be a while before we see her again). brit has some great stuff to post, too. glad to be back, must sleep... |

Did I miss the review for B&TB? Was it exceptional as always? Better then the first round of Vegas?

She did twirl MUCH faster in Vegas in the bridge though - and she sort of bowed at the end of the twirls. |
I'm back also! Well I landed at 6 am got to my mothers house at 8 and just now woke up. I did not get any sleep on the plane, cause the guy next to me snored soooo loud. But it was all for a good cause..... :D
I do have lots of video and pics to post but I don't have the right stuff to do it here. So expect it tomorrow. I had such a fabulous time with everyone, this was a great group of people. :xoxo: Most of all, to our dear Stevie....Thank you for 2 hours of heaven this weekend and for years of constant joy. Brit Also what to expect from the videos: End of Rhiannon when she rips it up 2:15 of Stand Back 1:36 of Edge of 17 ( complete with Jason backing vocals) All of Rock and Roll!!!! All of BATB!!!! And her goodbye speech at the end along with band bow. |
