Stevie Photos From 2 Years Ago...
 

Even though these are from the first leg of the "Say You Will" tour (Milwaukee), I thought I would post them in the Stevie forum. I can post the Stevie/Lindsey photos in the Fleetwood Mac forum if anyone wants to see them. I just joined the Ledge a few months ago, so I never posted my older photos before.

This is the only recent picture of Stevie that looks like the Stevie from the late 70's. Look at her face!!! Isn't that awesome??

her face looks great.. but two facelifts, a nose job, and 30 years later, it doesn't even look like the same person to me from those two pictures :shrug:

God, I love these, Alicia. I treasure the hard copies of some of the photos that you sent me through the mail after the Chicago show back in '03. And of the ones above, I use the 4th one as my main Livejournal userpic with the caption "I've the same wide eyes." Of course you are credited in my LJ bio, and no one would be able to reproduce the pic because I have cropped it, it's very tiny, and it has that added caption!

I also use another one of your pics as a userpic--one of the Stevie/Lindsey ones, with the caption, "WHOO HOO!" It's one where they're both throwing their hands up in the air and it just looks so celebratory and cute. :o

Anyway, thanks for the great pics as usual. They never fail to bring back memories.

No offense, but that really must be some whack crack you've been doing. :p

If she truly looked so drastically different as to look like another person, I wouldn't be disingenuous and argue otherwise. But, to me, she still looks like the same woman who joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975. Only thirty years older (with all of the typical changes that one's face goes through as they age) and weighing more.

But we've all had this argument/debate here a million times before, so....

Why the hell did she get bangs? She looks so much better in these photos with no bangs... Hot, hot, hot!!! She looks about late 30's in those photos. Not mid fifties. She looks about mid 40's now with the bangs.

They're definitely some of the best pics of Stevie that I've seen from the SYW tour.

Your photos are fab and Stevie looks gorgeous. Two things. The watch drives me crazy and in photo #8 is she wearing a David Yurman cable bracelet? I think so. :)

Those are beautiful photos! She looks absolutely stunning, but the watch was one of my thoughts too. Why does she wear it during shows? And the fingernails - so glam!! Thanks for sharing with us. :)

I LOVE these pictures...but hello, roots! Kinda gives you a better idea of what Stevie would look like with her natural, darker hair color.

I thought I saw a cable bracelet too..in the same photo she has a large rock on her left ring finger? I think it is number eight.

I really prefer her with bangs. Her hair looks sort of unhealthy to me, especially on the ends! Plus, I really do not consider this look a hairstyle, I call it "Stevie's attempt at growing her bangs out period".

I think her hair looks orange-ish, too. Possibly the lighting, though. :cool:

These are great! I like her hair like that it shows her eyes more, I was just scrolling back and found these, Thanks!!!

Call me a banger, I guess. I prefer the bangs for late-era Stevie. Though, I did like the parted-on-the-side swoop that she sported in the photo session that was published with the 'Us' magazine article around the OSOTM era. I don't have the pics, but she is wearing a yellow satin overcoat over a black dress. We've all voiced our opinions over the years about the parted-down-the-middle hair from the early shows on the SYW tour, mine being that it made her look drawn out. But, these particualr snaps that were posted here...not so bad. In fact, in some of them I can still see BN-era Stevie peeking through, even 30 years later.

Two facelifts and a nosejob? I don't think I've ever heard that! Boob job,yes. I thought singers were usually reluctant to touch the nose in case it changes the voice. Unless, maybe Stevie had to get the coke-hole in her septum repaired at one point..?

With all the hard living this woman has done you can be sure that she has had work done. Stevie is magical but still human and like everyone gravity took its toll on her as well as the drugs nicotine and booze.

Seeing Stevie age throughout the years has given me some inspiration to take better care of myself. Knowing that you can look great even as you age, is a great motivator to get off that couch and exercise and eat better.
Hell, I am 38 and can only aspire to looking that damn good when I am 59.
All I can say is WOW. (Plus it doesn't hurt Stevie was blessed with some good genes). Those eyes, that hair, that perfect skin. again... WOW.

Edit: That watch has also bugged me. I mean for heavens sake, she IS Stevie Nicks, what on earth does she need to know the time for during the show? (oh, unless it is to help time out wardrobe changes, but you would think Karen or the Wardrobe Mistress would help with the timing issue on that). She might wear the watch face on the inside of her wrist so it does not catch on wardrobe or anything.
