Man there are a lot of screen names here that start with the word "Gypsy". I count 47. Plus one "Gypzy". Isn't that fascinating?

when i registered, i just used my aim name. and the triple-x has nothing to do with porn. it's just kind of how i sign my name online: ...M.

and i thought of the perfect username the day after i registered. i'm not telling because i don't want someone to snag it up, and i was very surprised that it wasn't already taken.

how'd everyone come up with their usernames?

I went with eclipse because I thought it was "different" although connected to the Sister of the Moon, and Stevie's infatuation with the moon too. And I also LOVE all things LUNAR- I collect moon stuff- jewelry, photos, artwork, books, etc.

So my name is my dream of the moons' peace and presece I guess- I could never use a fav song cuz they always change with my moods :confused: Different all the time.

Right now I have been listening to It's Alright/Designs of Love...rather country influenced (Which I don't care for at all- County is about the only flavor of music I don't listen to- But, something about that tune enchants me ;) , so I listen and sing along...

So that's my name story and I am sticking to it :xoxo:

BTW- back in 1984, I bought a brand new car and I just had to have GYPSY as my license plate-and I did. It is still sitting in my cellar- but I never thought of calling myself that name??

Well I couldn't think of anything creative, snappy and Fleetwood-maccy when I signed up for the Ledge - so I thought, "well I'm a Drummer. My name's Deanna..." and well the rest, as they say...is history!

I chose mine because it was one of the very first lines of Stevie's that I remember hearing and rewinding the cassette to hear over and over again. "She is like a cat in the dark, and then, she is the darkness..." I still love it.

Mine's not too tough to figure out, since my name is Victoria. However, I actually hate the name Vicky. I know I've said this before in another thread, but my screen name or whatever comes from an inside joke with a friend/former coworker of mine (and has nothing to do with potato chips).

I was a receptionist for about four years. Apparently I have a very sexy phone voice. I've had several people tell me that I should either work for a 900 number or become a late night DJ. One of those people was my now former manager, who said I should call myself "Miss Vicky" and go to work as a phone sex operator. I haven't worked with her in about three years but she still asks "How much is it per minute?" whenever she calls me.

I'm a member of a few other message boards and use the same name there.

The pay is quite stellar from what I hear. Getting paid to talk on the phone? I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I use mine everywhere because I know that no one ever would have such a nonsensical name on any board, and it always confused me when a person had a different user name for each board. Therefore, every board I'm on - I'm SodaScouts. Tada!

I've already gone over how I chose "SodaScouts" before so I won't go into now - just that it shows my appreciation for both caffeinated beverages and To Kill a Mockingbird. ;)

on here is the one that is based off my email address I registered my internet access acct with...As of late I rarely use it on any boards beside this one.

I wanted something Fleetwood Maccie and Welsh Witch seemed like the obvious choice.

Actually my username is part Star Wars ExU (Jade from Mara Jade) and part Mac, my fave song is probably Gypsy.

this is my real name, and i liked it because of the buckingham nicks instrumental so I decided to post with it. I like it because it is easy!

My lame-o username is a Metallica song. I *think* I chose it because I thought the line, "so let it be written, so let it be done, I'm sent here by the chosen one" was good for a message board. :rolleyes:

My user name is the same as my screen name and everything else. I don't like it, but I haven't been able to think of a cool name yet.

I didn't give my user name much thought. I remember I was listening to Sorcerer at the time. I didn't think I'd post as much as I have. :o

I was 13. I thought x's were "SORADOMG!!!1" and I liked the whole "Dreams unwind" thing. Now, I hate my username. It's so... lame. I was quite the emo kid at 13, and I guess I still am. :laugh:

I tried to pick others (can't remember what, maybe trackaghost cuz I was obsessed with Angel for a long time) but they were all taken. I sat there & tried to figure out what else I could do that was a bit different.

Voila - nicks backwards. :)

I use the same name here as on other boards and MSN and my email...I chose it years ago cos when I heard the word it sounded so beautiful and I think the meaning of it is also great. I'd get confused if I had a Mac name for here and used other ones else where. I use the same so much my boyfriend actually now calls me "Seren" as a nickname!!!
