Not talking about how many times you post - but how many times do you log on "just to see if there's anything new..." ? Or not log on - and just scan the most recent answers.

busy I am, Usually it's about 6 times a day...And that's just to see if anything out of the ordinary may have happened while I was busy.

On my work days, twice - if I have time to glance through in the morning. I always check it out when I get home at night.

On days off... :eek: Far too often. I pop in just to see if there's anything new, and then invariably feel an overwhelming need to respond, and so log on... and well....

Far more than I should -- especially while at work :o

I think there used to be a numerical average in the profiles.

Ah - but that doesn't take into account the number of times you come to read, and don't log on. :laugh:

On work days, usually twice a day. Once in the morning and then in the evening. On non work days or light days maybe 3-4 times. I have to see if I've missed anything important. :nod:

It really varies based on my schedule & location.

Oh ****, busted. Ummm, at least 8-10 times a day, unless I'm working. Probably more than 8-10 times actually, if I'm off. :o
The Ledge is, by and FAR, my favorite place on the web.

Far too many times to count. My computer is always on and every so often when I'm at home I'll pop on here to see what's going on

I'm at the computer pretty much all the time, so it's easy (or tempting) to just check quickly every now and then. At home, that differs.. some nights not at all, some nights it's like a chatsession.

When, I am not at work or not away for a few days my PC is always on and I am always online. I check The Ledge constanly. I check in the AM before I go to work (like right now) and as soon as I get home and in the door I turn the PC, on get online and head straight for The Ledge and just keep refreshing the page. I stay there until 12 or 1AM.

prolly 7-8 timea a day, i wrk from home & find myself venturing over to the comp, whenever i get a chance to~

this must be what catholic confession feels like:

i check in the morning before work, i check when i get home from work, i check at some point in the evening, i check before i go to bed. i have never checked the ledge and not been logged in as i never log out. i have been known to spend an entire saturday on the ledge.

i didn't register until after i graduated from college for a very specific reason: i would have failed out. is there a ledgie (a real, active, posting ledgie) who only checks like once a day and is only on for like fifteen minutes? is there one?

I don't even sign off from the Ledge....


....hence the reason I stay invisible so I don't look so pathetic. :wavey:

That's why I don't sign ON most of the time! :o :D

I can't go a day without checking this place at least 5 times a day. And each visit lasts at least 45 minutes. :laugh: I'm obsessed. :nod:

It's is summer vacation for me so I have been able to check in a few (2 maybe 3) times a day. However when school starts it will be less-

Plus I am a hugh Stevie fan and so much has been going on with her this summer there are different reviews and pictures almost daily!! I just have to check them out ...
And I like being in touch with all the other Ledgies that I have come to know. It is nice to be connected to people- who you really don't know at all- :laugh:

Um - so much that I can't even count :o

I am on here WAY too much while at work - last week I tried to tone it down a bit - and am also doing that this week...lol- not very successfully - but yeah - I constantly check my e-mail and the Ledge.

I'm going with Krista. Yeah, far more than I care to admit. I even manage to check it while I'm at friends house and they don't like that too much!

I'm here almost all day...Monday Through Friday. Hit & Miss on the weekends.

I come here basically all day and night :nod:

At night I am like Pattie I keep hitting refresh.

LOL - I never used to do that - but I find that increasingly I'm doing the same thing at night :laugh: I'm totally addicted.

I often wonder why I’m so obsessed with this place.
Is it a Mac thing, is it the people, or is it because I am bored so much of the time?

Well, I work midnights now 3 days a week so I am not on as much as I used to be....but yeah, 95% of the time, I am. :shocked:

I usually wake up with The Ledge, literally. I get up around 4:45 am, go get a Mt. Dew, and a cigarette, get on the computer, and get on here. I sit here waking up for about 20- 25 minutes, and then go get ready. Sometimes, if I'm not too busy at work, I'll check up once, and then right before I go to bed, (like now) and Sara's in the tub, I'll hop on here for some "mom time." So, about 2- 3 times a day. Not too bad, but this is by and far my favorite spot on the internet! :xoxo:

I stay logged on while I'm at work & check in several times a day between patients. When I'm not working but he's at work I'm on at least twice a day. If we're both off, I usually want to do other stuff. ;)

I never log off when I close, is that bad?

Methinks some of you are underestimating a tad. I visit this place like 15 times a day and I see you folks right there with me! (You know who you are!) lol

Which is why I didn't even venture a guess - I know I'm on here way too much to count. In fact RIGHT NOW - I should be writing a news story about a mayoral candidate- but I just pulled some sound bytes - now I'm taking a little Ledge break :laugh:
