If Stevie and Lindsey ever write a duet together.....

...what should it be called?

(Either serious or sarcastic suggestions welcome :D .)

If Stevie and Lindsey ever wrote a duet, there would be bloodshed.

Probably...

"Don't Tell Me What to Write (You Wouldn't Say That to Bob Dylan)"

;)

"I've Know You Too Long" Sung to the tune of "I've Been Loving You Too Long"....

I've known you a little too long and I wanna stop now
You've grown tired and I want to be free, yeah
My nerves are gettin' worn, as you become a pest to me
Oh I've known you a little too long
I wanna stop now, oh
Back then my life,
Was so wonderful
But I gotta get away now

"Haters Wanna Hate, Lovers Wanna Love".....LOL

Hmm, thats a tough one...I honestly cant think of anything that doesnt sound cheesy. Although I'm sure if they were to write a duet together, the title would be bittersweet and fitting.

I know they've both said that their writing styles are too different to allow them to actually write a song together, but I'd still love to see it happen.

Song titles (seriously sarcastic):
"Angels and Demons"
"Dreaming in Circles"
"We're Here to Stay (And Refuse to Go Away)"

And I'd love to hear them record a new version of "California Dreamin' " - or if that's not correct, whatever Mamas & Pappas song Lindsey was playing the night they first met. *Sigh* Good times.

chiliD 07-25-2005 04:28 PM

"Bleeding Crystal Blues".

"Goth-Eyed Wonky"

Peppered with lots of words Lindsey just looked up in the dictionary and metaphors from Stevie that only someone with a joint between their lips would understand.

Hell has frozen over
Thank goodness we didn't marry (like the Mcvies)
Bloodshed
Did we just do that (write a duet)?!
McVie (a tribute to sanity)
I don't even know-sung to the tune of I Don't Want To Know. Here are some of the lyrics

I don't even know the reasons why
I loved you
And why it lasted for so long
I don't understand it's been so long
Honey I don't even feel fine

Banging our heads babe
The truth has come down now
We were schizophrenic spirits
For crying out loud
I can't believe
Did you love me, babe I don't know
We were a-rocking and a-reeling
Oh boy

I don't even know etc.

Rocks in our heads babe
The truth has been told
Now we realize we were crazy
That's something that we didn't know
How did we survive
Did you love me, babe I don't know
We were a-rocking and a-reeling

I don't even know the reasons why
I love you
And why it lasted for so long
I don't understand it's been so long
Honey, twas a long time

Wish You Weren't Here

golddustdragon 07-27-2005 04:07 PM

Only for money (Mick's theme song)

Stevie and Lindsey setting the record straight as far as their relationship goes. I mean seriously, do people think they are still madly in love. They just do this for the shows. And the shows cost a lot. And ... this is where Mick comes in.

Strangling each other

This is just a song where they both can be heard choking each other. Think of it as an "instrumental" piece.

Divorce her (Yes I will)

Just a little red meat they could write for the shippers.

Tehe...actually according to the DR doc that would be Christine's duet w/ the band.

BTW...I haven't been on for months. I miss you guys a lot and talking about FM. I moved out and don't have a computer so I don't know how much I'll be on but it was nice to read all the posts again. :)

SteveMacD 07-30-2005 04:57 PM

Well, it's a song already written, but it would be appropriate for them to cover:

"Love Hurts"

Gag me.

That would be the day that both of their careers would finally jump the shark for good.

Not if they did the Gram Parsons/Emmylou Harris version. Hell, I saw Emmylou do it last night with Elvis Costello.

"Thrown Down (on the hood of the car)"
"Beauty While We Bitch"
"If Anyone Lives"
"You Can Cuss at Me" to the tune of "Talk to Me"
"Has Anyone Ever Told You, You're a Schizophrenic Bitch"

I tried to get tix to see them like a crack whore tries to score and I couldn't. I've got about five boots from the tour so far and, crikey, what a ****ing show. They better have the sense to immortalize that **** on DVD.

First of all, the duet I am suggesting would be on Fleetwood Mac's last album and would only be played for their farewell tour only. It is called," Love Is A Virtue."

golddustdragon 08-07-2005 07:27 PM

They can cover "Love Bites" by Judas Priest

Lindsey can sing "Bitch" and "She's so cold" by the Rolling Stones

You know what would sound really nice. If both did a cover of CSN's "Southern Cross"
