Where are my posts?
 

hey where did all my posts go? i'm missing like, 1,200 of them!! i may not post often... but i've been working on them for many years! have i been demoted?

Lis deleted a load of old posts from the Chit Chat forum to save on bandwidth.
Quite a few people have a lower post count as a result

but i didn't have very many on the chit chat forum... i spent most of my old 1600 posts on the stevie forum during the TISL days.... oh well :(

On the bright side, now you're in a lower Ledgie tax bracket. ;)

Actually the numbers aren't what matters, IMO, it's more that there were some great old threads that I wouldn't mind seeing revived. All these people's creativity...gone without a trace...

Well as Lis told me, the number of posts isnt indicative of your status or tenure. Although, it did bother me just a tidbit that I lost a couple hundred posts.

Now I'm hallucinating. I'm seeing purple faces laughing at me & it looks like Stevie is gearing up to Itsy Bitsy Spider is somebody's sig photo. :shocked: ;)

Bob Welch. I found the pic on his official site. His caption says they were arguing about something but he couldn't remember what it was, or something to that effect.

to that, I dont think it reflects badly on anyone if ya lose a number of posts...I have seen some very intelligent Ledgie with much less amount of posts than most, I think Quality beats out Quantity.

I just realised, if they rescinded MY strikes from 2002-2003, then it goes for others too... oops.

Jessica - I was shocked too - I was off-line one weekend to move and I came back and had like 1,000 less posts :eek:

I was pretty miffed, like you said - I had worked so hard racking up those posts!

It sucks - wish they could have been deleted without affecting the # of posts.

I noticed the slight change to my post number but it will be just as easy and fun to get it back over the 1,000 mark again. But hey not that numbers count, it's the fun posts and our community that counts!!! :nod: :xoxo:
