I just wanted to let all my Ledgie friends know that I just took a pregnancy test and the results were positive! I just wanted to pass along the good news...any pointers on how to break it to the family? :shocked:

Thanks everyone for the kind words. As far as telling the family they'll of course support us but I think they will be in shock to begin with since we aren't married and I'm barely 21 but I've got a great boyfriend and I think everything will be ok.
And don't worry it will come out singing some Stevie tune and if its a girl it will be named Sara and if a boy maybe Lindsey? :shrug: ........... ;)

As for pointers, I found out on Mother's Day, so when I called my mom to wish her a happy mom's day, I also told her she might want to sit down. She pretty much guessed it after that. :laugh:

Congratualtions! I was 19 and unwed when I found out I was pregnant. I, too, had my Mom tell everyone. LOL. But my boyfriend was an asshole and I was a bit younger than you. Anyways, it's great that you are happy about it! Congratulations again.

My brother and his wife just announced they are expecting for Christmastime. To tell everyone, they had these little silver frames made up with a poem in the photo area:

They just had the ultrasound done, and my Mom put that pic in the frame. So, it wasn't really 9 months, and they now know it's a boy (even though all I saw was weird squiggles and grey blobs), but it's still a cute poem... :D
