Ok.. some of you might be sick of all these survivor threads, but i'm not, so here's another one :woohoo:

I thought it might be fun to do one with all of Stevie's Non-LP songs, including her B-sides, soundtracks, and imports.... so here they are in no particular order:

Unfortunately this is one group of songs I'm not too fond of so this will be easy for me. There are so many to chose from, it's just a matter of which I dislike the MOST.

"Mirror Mirror" was a RAL outtake (it was almost the title of RAL, but was changed)... still unsure when the vocal was sung... 1985 or 1994? hmmm

I LOVE these Survivors, but Please do you have to do them all at once? Could you please consider waiting until after TISL Survivor is over to do this one? Plus there's the FM Stevie songs. 3 Survivors in one forum at the same time is too danmed much and it takes away from the individual Survivors.

well, this is only the second one i have personally ever done... all 3 survivor threads are currently overlapping each other, and will all end at different times... i hardly see where it would be so difficult to vote on 3 different threads, but if it is too overwhelming for you, then by all means skip this one :wavey:

I have a few versions & they all sound similar, with various degrees of nasal stuffiness.

Yup. Great writing by Stevie, but it's a Lindsey song in my heart.

Yep--can't get used to this version at all...... love it from the white album though!!! And the BN album--but for some reason I can't get into this version....

This is hard. I'm going to go with Somebody Stand By Me.

I'll be sad if Mirror Mirror gets the boot. That is one of my favorite Stevie rockers. "You must know... he says 'no not really'" Amazing song!

I think it merits inclusion because:

-It's unique; no other versions exist. It's not a live version of a studio recording.
-It's not a demo.
-It was a legitimate official release, albeit, only to AT&T customers.

By the way, I think if you are including "Reconsider Me," then "It's Late" should be included. They are both considered to be studio outtakes. :wavey:

I'm confused. Isn't Somebody Stand By Me and It's Late both studio cover songs on non LPs? So, shouldn't It's Late be on the list too?

No. It's Late was not on any release other than Enchanted, and it is labeled as a demo.
