In a way, I hope not because I want to see another show and I know there's people who have yet to see the concert and want to.
But on the other hand, I really want her get into the studio and start working on a new record! I want some new tunes to listen to. |
Uh, I haven't heard anything about Stevie going back into the studio after this tour. I heard her talk about her Rhiannon project...didn't she describe it as her "spiritual destiny" right now?
Oh and yea, I think it is it for the tour dates. Who wouldnt want to get home to their new house? |

Lindsey Buckingham. |

I was just answering the question. :p |

I just feel she should do a whole album of her demos... no new music, just the demos finalized and put into production on a new album.. she has too many unreleased gems out there... she needs to put these songs out already... before it never happens.. |

I think it will happen....but it will occur when she is long and gone. Horrible thought, I know, but a lot of stuff is released once an artist passes away. :distress: |

No more solo albums? I will be so upset if there isn't anything new released. Some more music with FM would be good, but I really want more of her solo songs.

Ugh, and I don't want to ever think about a day when Stevie won't be around...no more talk about that. :distress: |

But actually I have another question - Has Stevie/FM EVER been to Italy? I never hear about any Italian shows. Sheesh. If I was FM/Stevie, I'd be all over Italy. |

BTM?! That's it? sheesh, they should always hit Italy when they do Europe... perhaps the projected sales there aren't that great? You know, when their booking people are booking places, maybe there aren't so many fans in Italy? It seems very mysterious, to me. don't kick yourself, I saw the Enchanted tour, but was not yet up enough on Stevie's catalogue to enjoy it as I should've. *sigh*. I only knew the hits, then. :distress: |

Stevie does love the full circle concept, so ending in Vegas, just as she had started there would be, well, poetic.

exactly.. that's why she will put out a new album in 2006 (25 years after Bella Donna) ::crosses fingers:: |
would you guys stop with the talk of a new album. Fleetwood Mac is getting back together soon according to Stevie and hopefully THEY will make a new album. Her Fleetwood Mac songs lately have been much better then her solo work anyway. If she does anything she'll do that Rhiannon movie, and the soundtract will most likely cover the new album.

whatever it is, in any form, with any other person or persons, I just want MORE STEVIE!!!!!!!

And I don't care if it's solo or with Fleetwood Mac... even though I like her SYW songs a tad better then TISL, it makes no difference to me. Actually, I'd prefer if she went solo so we'd get more songs and a great solo tour... |

ahhh, but there are more US's than THEMS, remember that ;) furthermore, nothing.. NOTHING could ever be as bad as "Smile At You"... nothing....well, except "Docklands" and "Affairs Of The Heart" :p |

Smile At You kicks ass!!! Those vocals are amazing and includes some of the highest notes she's hit in years.

I love the song, but i think what was done to it for SYW was a disgrace.... that song was a ROCK song.. Lindsey turned it into some weird Tusk-like depressing slit your wrist ballad... not cool :distress: |

yeah, we are.... it's morbidly depressing... my absolute least favorite song on SYW... i can't understand why on Earth a gem like "Not Make Believe" was left off of that, but "Smile At you" made the cut... |
Quote:
As far as Smile At You goes, some of the lyrics are sad but the tempo still seems very high and fast paced to me and John's bass is incredible in this song. Stevie's vocals, like I said, are spot on and she hits all the high notes. My favorite lyric of the whole album is on this song... "What you did not need was a woman who was stronger. You needed someone to depend on you. I could not be her, I did not want to. My first mistake was to smile at you." Ahhh, amazing! |
Quote:
sorry... but it doesn't compare to the demo versions... That song needs a kickin' drumbeat and the words "flaming, flaming!!" need to be shouted out the end.. all of what made that demo version so great was completely sucked dry... i think most would agree that when they heard the SYW version, they were a bit disappointed.. i know i was.. |
