Oh! And cut the hair some, but leave the bangs! Got to have bangs if the hair is straight! Her body may have rocked for the first leg of the SYW tour, but her hair made her look like a blonde Morticia Adams! Downright ghoulish! :eek: :shocked: :eek:

I don't like the watered-down album version. I consider the country sounding demo with the twangy guitar intro to be the true "That's Alright".

Since it's not the live version, and i think the studio version is on the boring side a bit, it's getting my vote.
As for the poll, NO! Do not cut the hair and leave the bangs!! I think that hairstyle makes her look so much younger! With bangs, she looked atleast 5 years older! Keep the current hairstyle!

What's with all the dislike of Angel????

I love the hair up look too, but I disagree with it making her look years younger. IMO, it makes her look her age, if not late 40's...but it's a very classy look. So I'm not saying I don't like it at all, I just don't think it makes her look younger. What would you guys think if she got another perm, and started doing her hair like she used to for Sara during the Tusk tour? Wouldn't that be a flashback if there ever was one?! lol.

I don't think it makes her look younger either. I like it for a change but she looks older with it up. I would love if she got a perm again. I don't know if one like the Tusk tour would be so good but Wild Heart era would rock!

no, cutie. Stevie does not smile nearly as much during G&B as she does during Angel, live, Tusk doc. Must I do a smiley count? Also, there is the rockin little charleston, wherein millions more stevie smiles abound.
Although, I did notice, she smiles a lot, relatively, during Sara tusk. But not as much, or as big, as in Angel. Talkin bout my.
P.S. - Congrats on Red Rocks! that will be awesome, I hope you go!

Okay I have really strong feelings about Stevie's hair. I don't want her to cut it much shorter then it already is. I think it is at a nice length and the long hair is girlish and youthful so she should keep it the way it is. For other woman her age, maybe they would have to worry about looking "witchy", but that is all part of Stevie's stage persona anyway, so she has nothing to worry about. I do want her to grow out the bangs because I think her hair looks really great with no bangs/side swept bangs ala the first leg of the SYW tour.

As far as wearing her hair up goes... I think it aged her for Beauty and the Beast and made her look younger for Sara, so go figure! lol I prefer her hair down and wild so it gets in her face and all messy when she starts rocking out. :)

So, my favorite era for Stevie's hair was the first few weeks of the SYW tour. An unpopular opinion, I know!

I still like her hair today, I just want her to grow out the bangs and pull that hair out of her face!

Sometimes the bangs can look really nice though... like in the Dance video.

I guess Angel gets a +500 for the Charleston and for the scarf. The autograph picture I have a of Stevie is a picture of her during that performance. :)


...and if I get someone to go with me, I will be at Red Rocks. I don't mind flying alone, but traveling around a city I don't well by myself won't be as much fun by my lonesome.
