If Stevie were a customer where you work...

... what would your job be to assist/help her with? If she came to my place of employment, I would be doing her mammogram!! I would freak if that happened..OMG.
How about you guys? :woohoo:

OMG, you would be a SOTB for real! Maybe you can slip her your card at a future show. ;)

I would have to help her in an area she would most likely not need any help. Loan customer service. Fat chance that she would need to take one out.

Rickypt 07-13-2005 04:55 PM

If she came to my work, she wouldn't be a customer, she'd be a client. And would be HIV positive. So that is not a dream of mine.

ontheEdgeof17 07-13-2005 04:55 PM

Well....since I would be her nurse, her care would be totally confidental. ;)

However, I'm sure I would insert an IV, cath her, give her daily baths, and apply Nicotine Patches so she wouldnt have to leave the floor to smoke.

WildInTheWind 07-13-2005 04:56 PM

I'd just be doing her accounting. It would be much cooler to do her mammogram!

amber 07-13-2005 05:00 PM

I guess we'd be printing up her tour books, or something. Also our designer would laugh at Chris's amateurish job, I suppose.

mondaymornin1 07-13-2005 05:07 PM

If she were here, I'd be supplying her pills!

And, I don't usually "counsel" patients about their medicine (no time!), but I'd make an exception for her.

*speaking slowly * "This is Tylenol. It's for headache. This is Colace. It's for constipation.

I'd be designing her clothes... ooh, I like that idea!!!! :blob1:

Wild_Heart03 07-13-2005 05:16 PM

I'd be helping her find something in the dollar store where I work.... somehow I find it hard to think of Stevie shopping for cheap bags of chips though

Now THAT would be cool!

DrummerDeanna 07-13-2005 05:28 PM

Well I'd be interviewing her - which would kick some MAJOR ass!!!

Me too!! :]

And I would tell her management we only do hour-long interviews, plus all the set-up time. We'd have to make sure the lighting was perfect, afterall. Oh, and I'd have to have access to her for the entire time - you know, to make sure she was happy and comfortable, and ready to reveal ALL for the interview. ;)

LeighB04 07-13-2005 05:31 PM

I do have a friend who at one time made a dress Stevie bought... she never met Stevie, but the store told her SN had come in and bought it....
Seeing as Stevie was the main inspiration for me getting into clothing design, it would be karma to eventually design something for her.

LeighB04 07-13-2005 05:32 PM

Oh, I could interview her as well! I volunteer on an awesome public radio station in Oregon, so that would be extra cool!

Serendipity 07-13-2005 05:35 PM

I'd be serving her in a supermarket, but then we all know that Stevie doesnt Do grocery shopping. So that would never happen!!! :D

If she comes in in two years, I'd be her lawyer. That might be fun.

If Stevie came into my office...

I'd be showing her how to program the voicemail number into her phone, or some other equally tedious cellular-related problem...

LeighB04 07-13-2005 05:45 PM

I'm thinking Stevie probably wouldn't even have a cellphone - by all accounts, she's pretty clueless when it comes to technology. Although the sight of her trying to operate an ATM keeps popping into my head...

I had. Until now.

Mental Image. :distress:

Stephanie 07-13-2005 06:10 PM

I would be her eye doctor. Even though she had LASIK, she still needs regular eye health evaluations.

littlecricket2 07-13-2005 06:19 PM

Well, since Stevie is neither in high school nor college anymore, my guess is that we wouldn't cross paths. :distress: But if she ever needed math tutoring for any reason at all, I'd do it for free! :)

LeighB04 07-13-2005 06:20 PM

You could always invite her to visit your school and present a song writinglesson, or something like that!

Yeah, but I don't teach anything but math--I might sit in on the English or music class she visited if it were during one of my planning periods though! :woohoo:

Especially since that would be my school! :D

That would be pretty awesome, wouldn't it Jess? I'm wishing now that I would have incorporated more Stevie/Fleetwood Mac into some problems we did in algebra 2. Like, "Stevie Nicks drops her tambourine from the stage at an initial height of 3 meters from the floor (where fans are standing) of the auditorium..."

LOL!!

I actually remember whenever we had a word problem, I wondered why you never named them Stevie or anything...

golden braid 07-13-2005 07:15 PM

If Stevie were one of my clients I would be giving her riding lessons or training and showing one of her horses. I could totally do that. :D Stevie actually needs to buy me a fancy horse.

That would be the best! I forgot you had a super awesome job. Wouldn't that be fun? You could pretend you guys are in the scrapped Stand Back video! And you could be like "okay, Stevie, this civil war era dress is standard riding gear. Go change." Then, of course, you would become the head of Stevie's personal stable....mmmmm.... :woohoo:

That would be so awesome!! I would love that.

sparky 07-13-2005 07:21 PM

Hmmm...this could be fun. I would be doing her set for a new music video.
Or perhaps her interior. Pretty damned easy, considering all the sets I have done that were Stevie inspired. It would ne NUTS. I'd spend a fortune.

Actually, couldn't you ostensibly have that job? I mean, doesn't stevie just hire people? Why not you, or your company?

lagringader&r 07-13-2005 07:29 PM

I quit my job but my fairly consistent occupation has been as a waitress. So, I'd take her order. I would hope she would take her time. Eat verrry, verrry slowwwwly.

Starling 07-13-2005 07:43 PM

Hmmmm...I guess I could try to sell her a gold moon? :) Or one of her own inspired bracelets?

I really want to see her in one of my circlets! Imagine Stevie in a headpiece...she ought to start a new tradition. :)

GypsyNomad 07-13-2005 07:54 PM

Well, if Stevie were 5-12 years old, then she would be spending her time at a summer day camp that I work at. How cute would that be! Kids today are so rotten, sometimes I come home from that place with my eye twitching  I'm sure she was an angel  Or if she had children around that age, she be dropping them off & picking them up.... Awe, little Stevies!

If she were to require my help, she'd be a reporter. And THAT's a scary thought... considering her tendency to "revise" her past!
