How old were you when you started the Ledge?
I just realized I was 19 and living at home.
I am 27 now. Some of us really "grew up" on the Ledge. |
14 years old. It is good to have an outlet to talk about Fleetwood Mac because my friends certainly get bored quickly when I start talking about Stevie!

And now I'm 27, too. - Jake |
I was 14, and barely knew any FM songs except the hits.

I was 13. And a total lamer. Still am, though. :D
|
Well, I'm a newbie...
...and 18. :o |
23. How exciting.
|
Old enuff...
to know better (aka 31 years old)...Only been 4 years now.
Ya know, A great spin-off thread would be "Do you remember what was your first ever post on the Ledge?" |
I barely joined this place last year, so about 19. Oh, what a difference a year makes. :p

1997.. so I was 22. 8 years?!
I vaguely remember my first post.. I tried to answer a question showing off my mac-knowledge, and instantly got corrected by Lauren  |
Hmm, it was about a 10 years ago when I first found this web site and I don't know when the Ledge started but I was 30 when I found The Penguin.
|
I joined I believe the week before Stevie's Trouble in Shangri La album was released. I was 21 yrs old, living in Chattanooga, and I moved to Atlanta one month later. Wow...I'm gonna be 26 in one month!
|
I was 14 years old, in pre-Dance 1997. I'll shortly be 23. I've spent almost a decade on this board. I've made lifelong friends here, I've burned the place down, I started a four year relationship with someone I met through this board, I've made enemies- but most of all, I've learned not to care. I wish people did not take this stuff so seriously. It'll cause nothing but trouble.

I was 20 when I joined. I still remember the first time I heard about the Ledge - it was at the AHI in what was is Aug/Sept of that year - I came across a Lindsey-crazed girl and her mother outside of the America West Arena and they asked me if I was a "Ledgie" I had NO CLUE what they were talking about lol....
Then I met a Ledgie (no longer posts) from my hometown - crazy....It's been a loooong time rouwf! |
I was 25 which was only a little over two years ago. I've only had a computer for 2.5 years so that might explain why I didn't descover the Ledger earlier. :o
|
To quote Mr. Dylan:
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now Actually, come to think of it...I met my wife here!  But, alas, since then she's been banned. :( :distress: :( |

With regards to the question at hand, no comment. :)

I've been reading the board for two-and-a-half years now, and intend to keep it up because the place is still a lot of fun. I think I was 22 when I first started my long lurker period (before starting to post), and I was directed to this place through the first FM board I ever read in cyberspace, the BN net board. Oh, the memories. ;)

I've been through four computers since I first posted here. It's certainly been a pretty good run. I've seen people come & go, talking of Michelangelo. Others may have been a pair of ragged claws, scuttling across the floors of silent seas. The Ledge is aptly named, because we're all standing on this ledge, peering over the precipice, into the abyss of god-knows-what-all. A few of us jump, most of us don't. But the lure of the unknown is still there, whispering in our ears . . . . |

I started reading The Ledge when I was about 15, but I made a name when I was 16, and I'm now 17. Such a long time
|
Well, I was 33. I avoided The Ledge for a long time cuz I knew I'd become addicted. But then I realized, I wanna be addicted to The Ledge! :] I have been on the Enchanted e-mail list for 10 years, since I was 24. I came over here when the whole Mick's chat board thing got crazy and I wanted to chat with fans about those bastards.
|
I first registered in 1997, just before The Dance was released. I was about 16 (23 now). But then the old Ledge went away, and I was going through too much crazy **** to re-register on the new Ledge until a couple years ago. And then it took me 6 months of lurking before I started posting again... :o I'm not even sure if any of the people I talked to back then are still around.
|
Umm...
I believe I was 25. I joined here in May 2001. Wow, can't believe it's been over 4 years now!
I see mylittledemon and I joined around the same time...and I remember the TISL hoopla. |

Well, it was exactly three years ago this month. Therefore, I was 27, since I'm the Big 3-0 now.

Remember every night there was a Dance Concert we'd wait for the review and try to see how many times like Lindsey would touch Stevie and stuff like that ( or maybe that was just me...?) And Lauren was the queen bee. She got me to write a letter to Lindsey of the 100 reasons why we love him or something..LOL and the dirty stories...LOL |

You really did grow up. I think of you most as someone who was just so young and who is now just very mature and adult, never starts anything. |
Who started GREEN CUP and HAMMOCK? Hayley, didn't you start one of those at least???
|
I joined when I was 21.....right before LIB. I wanted to see who all from this board was going.
