Products

The only kind of shopping I really enjoy is grocery shopping. And corny as it sounds, every week I make myself buy (try) one new thing.

I never by low-fat stuff normally, but I bought Breyers Heartsmart Orange and Raspberry Fruit And Cream Bars and now I can eat several boxes a day if I'm not careful.

What product are you enjoying?

Hmm. Does it have to be food-related? I'm kind of getting a kick out of frozen waffles  I am extremely lazy when it comes to breakfast -- if it's not easy, I usually don't eat in the morning... other than a banana as I'm headed out the door.

Outside of food, I'm all about the Aussie hair stuff. The only stuff that works on my hair -- I've tried everything.

No, it doesn't have to be food, especially since I hate breakfast foods. :)

It seems that whenever I'm a guest the host has Aussie hair stuff. It's okay; I'm just not nuts about the smell compared to other shampoos, not that it's bad.

Good. You can shop for me because I hate going -- especially if it's with my father who makes a two hour ordeal out of it by reading each package and scanning each aisle to make sure he hasn't missed anything.

As far as products go, I love my Aveda lip glaze in Kamara and my lip gloss in Grapefruit Pulp. I'm running out of both and that? makes me sad. This is more than likely of no interest to you unless you're not telling me something  ;)

I'm not surprised you're running out of it, with all that mouth to cover, wiseass. :)

This is Darrelle, but this is Lux. Lux's computer is not operating at the moment, but she felt it was very important that she participated in this thread. She is narrating this via telephone, and I am typing it out for her:

"My product of the week is Land's Butter. For consumation or just personal decoration. I think that about sums it up."

mylittledemon 07-05-2005 06:31 AM

Jake you are either really bored, or you're just experimental.

Trying not to overdo it on them, though! Why are they so good?

On the somewhat healthier side, I've been having these for breakfast when I don't have time for anything else. Well, not the cinnamin raisin but the banana.

Fascinating thread, isn't it? :laugh::lol:

DrummerDeanna 07-05-2005 09:16 AM

I am hooked on the bagged cereal by Malt-O-Meal called Frosted Mini-Spooners, they're the cheaper brand of Frosted Mini-Wheats - but WAY better -and cheaper - I can't start my day correctly without a bowl of them :p

other products I enjoy:

-Pringles light - not the fat free - but the lighter ones....yummy
-Trident - Tropical Twist gum..omg I am SO hooked on this.
-Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner.

Amen, sistah! Aussie Sprunch spray is the only curly hair product that works for me. Yeah, it smells like grape Bubbleyum, but it works!

As for food - Healthy Choice caramel brownie ice cream is my current weakness!

I know I have a big mouth so no argument there. I don't know where I got my lips because my parents aren't that big. I always knew I was adopted! Actually, the Grapefruit Pulp lasted a few months thank you very much; but apparently, it's what everyone wants for the summer and we always run out of it.

You know what? It actually is fascinating. To me at least. Perhaps I am a dork?

The latest new thing I tried was chocolate lover's ready to bake cookies. They are loaded with different types of chocolate chips. So far it has been to hot to bake, so I've been eating the dough. However, it is lasting quite a while because lately I have been having Ben and Jerry's ice cream, the latest flavor I tried is Magic Brownies, which is vanilla with chocolate brownies and rasberry swirls. Yummy!

Yuck. There is nothing worse than biting into a nice chocolate-looking something only to find it's also got rasberry  I am very against the mixing of chocolate and fruit of any kind

But the ice cream part reminds me of my recent addiction to hot fudge sundaes, I've been eating them LOTS at home...with low fat ice cream :p

I got some of that D-Humidify spray -- goes on like really stiff hairspray, but when you brush through it afterwards, totally calms the frizzies -- and my hair is nothing *but* 110% frizz in this humidity. I haven't washed my hair since yesterday and it's not greasy at all. I can handle this.

SuzeQuze 07-05-2005 01:41 PM

Chocolate and Rasberry are a Divine Combo

Wow, you are missing out. Chocolate covered strawberries? YES! Bananas? Yes! With rasberry filling! YES! Godiva makes a candy bar that is dark chocolate with rasberry filling that is to die for. Hmmm...

Yuck - the thought is making me gag, seriously. No taste is more vile to me than chocolate and rasberry....

I can tolerate Chocolate and banana....but nothing else, not even strawberry.

Oh - I don't like rasberry as a stand alone good either though - I think the tast is just nasty...

And oddly -even with my strong aversion to rasberry as a food -Sun Ripened Rasberry body spray and lotion from Bath and Body Works is something I love :p

And I love a fine dessert like a really dark and dense chocolate torte with rasberry sauce. Just luscious... Gagging again?

I also love the smell of that Bath and Body Works product!

Lately, for my hair, I've been using Biolage. It is great for summer because my hair can get so dry and it rehydrates it.

HomerMcvie 07-05-2005 01:54 PM

Product I'm addicted to?
TAB. Does anyone else drink it? My Mom drank it when I was a kid, and I'm HOOKED on it. Diet Coke sucks!!! TAB is my coffee. Two cans when I wake up, everyday! It's getting harder to find though.
Bonus points will be given for who can tell me(sans Googling) what the acronym stands for.

Totally gagging, because I also don't like dark chocolate. I bought a bag of Ghiradeli, or however it's spelled, dark chocolate squares - because I figured I"d be less likely to gorge myself on those - and it was true - but I can't eat them at all - I find them gross and they do nothing to calm my chocolate cravings :) I am just a milk chocolate fan :blob1:

I haven't read all the way through so I don't know if someone already answered this but I go to Imageshack and upload the pic from my pc and onto that site. I copy and paste the url that says "direct link to image," and then when I go to type my post I press the http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/973...rtimage7cv.gif button at the top and paste the address into the blank. I hope this helps. :)

Pringles remind me of soldiers marching in the North Koren Army, just lacking any individuality. I like the messy chips. Sorry.

The names Malt-O-Meal and Frosted Mini-Spooners just made me laugh. They sound satirical.

Oh, it's there. You just have to know which store carries it. They only make it in 12 packs now, in my region anyway. They stopped making 2 liters 2-3 years ago. AFAIK, it's the only drink still made with saccharin (sp). That's what gives it it's special taste. The pink stuff. Even Fresca switched to Nutrasweet.
No guesses on the acronym?

So what products do I love?

My hair is what it is because of Neutrogena Replenishing Shampoo and GOBS (like the size of a tennis ball everyday) of Pantene Smooth and Sleek conditioner. Probably my best feature.

Foodwise: Philadelphia Ultra Low Fat Cream Cheese. Oh, my God. (Of course, I eat so much of it that it's no longer ultra low fat).

And I'm completely addicted to Rice Cakes. With the ultra low fat cream cheese on top.

And Frank's Original RedHot Sauce. I eat it on everything. Including rice cakes with ultra low fat cream cheese.

No, really.
