You know what I do... I email the bidders telling them they can get these bootlegs for nothing by trading, or a simple 2:1 trade...... I've done it before, and I'll do it again. That's a rediculous price!!

i just wrote the winning bidder and told her to stop! referred her to stevienicksunderground where she can download the entire may 14 show for free. what a bastard

I'll tell you guys a little about a bad ebay experience I had. I won a bid for some Tusk tour pics from some guy in England, and he wanted dome damn international money order or some weird thing. Well to make a long story short, I sent the money order, never got my stuff, and only after found out that this prick had neg feedback. PLEASE people, if you're getting stuff off ebay, read the sellers profile first!!!!! :mad:

MAN O MAN....I just got in a rather heated argument with this douche!!! He was all saying I need to get a life and quit bothering him...I told him that if he ever puts up another bootleg he'll be reported and I'll tell everyone that bids to go to another site to download it for free!!! The guy is a total douche!!! I told him I just laugh at him....just laugh!!!! :laugh: :] :laugh:

I would say if someone is stupid enough to pay 60 bucks for these bootlegs on Ebay, they deserve it..

The thing with the people that buy the bootlegs is they all seems to have nicknames associated with FM or SN... Like Emmiline who bought the Vegas show... To me if you have a nickname like Emmiline... you would be considered a pretty big fan - or an informed fan. So why wouldn't you be aware that these things can be picked up for next to nothing with a trade... or free with a download?? Isn't that odd!

You would think..Vegas has been posted everywhere...you would think she would atleast do a quick search of the fan sites first before shelling out that kind of money.

Many sites have had Vegas---You can download Vegas from my site right now, 5-14-05 (it's a different audio recording than the other one circulating--and IMO a much better quality, as it is a DVD-A rip) --- so if she wouldve just waited she could have an amazing quality Vegas bootleg...which I'm posting in increments

I've noticed the same thing. I will say, though, that when I first started, I had no idea there were sites to download the music from so it's good you guys are spreading the word.

You know, i threatened this jerkoff two weeks ago for trying to pull this **** on Ebay... Because whoever he is, there is a good chance he is either selling MY boot or Mike's boot... and i will be damned if this moron is going to make a $60 profit off something that i risked getting my ass in trouble for doing!! :mad:

I know! I completely agree...it sucks because we all make these boots parts of our lives in such special ways and rely and appreciate those like you who make them available. It threatens a lot.

I don't understand either. Is this whole Fleetwood Mac ring some sort of underground thing that people are not aware of? Because, I highly dooubt this person would pay $60 for that tacky artwork alone! Unless this person is so nieve that they thing this is an official release.

I figured awhile ago that there could possibly be a group of people in a ripping off ring... One person puts up the show.. When interest is shown, the others bid on the item... and try to drive the price up - then share the windfall.... Not such a brilliant idea, but I'm sure it could be done.

It is the same person that I was contacting bidders on before... See the second item on the list the Texas bootleg... Again, I emailed the top 3 people bidding and I told them they could get the show for nothing....

btw.. i just contacted Emilline and told her I would send her all 4 Vegas shows for free if she promised not to follow through with sending this guy $60 for this boot... hopefully, she'll be smart and take me up on my offer.

This really pisses me off :mad: . Don't get me wrong, I started getting boots on Ebay at first, I think most of us did. But I found trading pretty damn quick & I sure as hell NEVER paid anywhere NEAR what this stuff is going for.

Part of me thinks that if people are dumb enough to spend that much money, screw 'em. :shrug: Another part of me gets really angry that someone is profitting off of their cluelessness.

what annoys me even more is the fact that this person has the nerve to sell a show that 1. he didn't record himself 2. doesn't even the know the date of, and 3. was already warned not to sell...
