Street Angel Vs Desert Angel
 

if Stevie could ditch one of the songs from her current set list (ie Landslide) and replace it with Street Angel or Desert Angel. Which one would you prefer to see?

Desert Angel remains the only Stevie song I can't get into.

Uh...well... considering the Iraq fiasco of the past couple of years, it might actually be interesting to see Desert Angel performed live these days... But I'd rather hear Street Angel.

Street Angel just sounds too depressing to me.. Desert Angel, while still depressing is at least a little hopeful-sounding... plus i love all the weird percussion sounds in the beginning of it :lol:

I love "Street Angel" a lot more than "Desert Angel", but I wouldn't be able to get into it live. "Desert Angel" would be a lot more easier to transfer to stage. It "rocks a little" more. Plus, considering the fact that Stevie uses video clips in her concerts now, I could just picture her doing the song with clips from the war in Iraq and of flags and other related things on the screen behind her. But I probably sound crazy! :p

It amazes me that anyone likes it. I'm glad we all got some amazement in our lives, this special evening. :)

I don't really hate it. I like some of the lyrics, especially "Where is my father, where has he gone? And where is my husband, and where is my son?" Those words are actually very powerful in the context of the song.

OMG! i was JUST getting ready to post and say the SAME thing, that is my favorite part of song, and your right, it is very very powerful, i also love the fact that she snuck the actuall "Progect Desert Storm" in there towards the end :angel:

For me it's not even close. DESERT ANGEL It always has been and always will be one of my 2 or 3 favorites of hers. I cant figure out why no one seems to like this song, but that's cool

I reckon those are the best lines of the song especially the way she sings them, but i like the whole last 1/2 of the song
