I want to join the Scientologists ...

I want to be in the sect of Scientology. Does anyone here have any information or advice on that?

GardenStateGirlie 06-29-2005 01:49 PM

Don't get sick.

dissention 06-29-2005 01:50 PM

Carry a quarter with you at all times.

GateandGarden 06-29-2005 01:51 PM

Pay some young chick to marry you?

wondergirl9847 06-29-2005 01:51 PM

Hmmm...

Become a celebrity?

darklinensuit 06-29-2005 01:54 PM

Why not become a Hollywood kabbalist as well? You can have Roseanne & Madonna & Brittney as your spiritual gurus. And wear a pricey yarn bracelet.

Get near a "church" of Scientology, wait for it to engulf you, which it will. That's it!

skcin 06-29-2005 02:20 PM

I hope you're rich. I don't think they accept poor people.

Violet 06-29-2005 02:29 PM

Move to Clearwater, FL. Trust me, THEY will find YOU. Beware the clipboard people.....

   You can't be serious.

Just buy (or better yet, have somebody GIVE you) L. Ron Hubbard's book Dianetics, read it, then listen to 1,000 hrs of Chick Corea & Stanley Clarke albums. Watch John Travolta & Tom Cruise movies exclusively.

Frequent this place: Orange County Scientology Center

Then give me a call so I can talk you down. :]

Unless you find some Katie Holmes lookalike...then you're on your own.

Watch the overnight replay of Anderson Cooper 360 from this evening. For some strange coincidental reason, nearly the whole hour was focused on $cientology, Tom Cruise's impending mental breakdown, and a debate on whether psychiatry is an actual science and if drugs prescribed for mental health are safe.

What a freaky-fukkin day!

I Did! That's why I had to find another movie quote. (Mummy returns).

Hope you're dumb, too. Don't think they accept educated people.

Those of us that like Stevie, Are we Stevieologists?

DownOnRodeo 06-30-2005 04:17 AM

I just checked out the site. I read the main blurb, which stated that the cause of all of man's grief is his 'reactive mind'. The next thing I see is a quote from the founder saying: "The wrong thing to do about any given circumstance or situation is to do nothing."
At this rate, Christian theology has less flaws!

Wasn't it fun watching AC hammer the Scientology guy? He had no direct answer to Anderson's questions about talk therapy. He just kept repeating the same line over and over about psychiatry being science.
Did you see the one where he had the mayor of Philidelphia, Alabama on in the Mississippi Burning case? The guy who said the Klan was a charitable organization? That was some good television.
He was wearing pinstripes again last night. Swoon. :)
