has anyone else seem to have trouble logging on last night & today, this is the 1st time i could come here since yesterday~ it keeps sending me to some aol page & i don't even use aol~ just wondering :shrug: ~

Yeah - there must be something going on - I keep getting error pages.

Yeah, I also keep having trouble getting on. It says the remote server cannot be found. More hacker trouble? or actually server trouble?

I thought it was just me--I cannot get into Nancy's site either--I also have been trying since last nite on both :confused:

Maybe we're back up?
 

I was finally able to get on the site and login!

I think maybe Marty is updating things? :shrug: It happens every once in a while.

Both The Ledge and BN.net have been unavailable. Judging from the scarcity of posts on both boards, I think the problem lies with the servers - however, the two boards are unrelated, so I think there has been hacking. Why else would both boards be down at the same time?

It's fairly annoying.

I think it was WAAAAY too long for him to be updating things. I emailed Marty and Lis, but it might've been past their bedtime.
My money's on the hackers again. :mad: :mad: Bastards, screwing with my favorite pasttime.

Well at least I know I'm not the only one obsessively typing the URL for The Ledge into my computer and checking the site every few seconds :p :laugh: I was beginning to think I was actually going to have to work :eek: :laugh:

I don't type it in. It's in my FAVORITES. :o

I couldn't access the Penguin at all yesterday. I kept getting "cannot find server" messages. A couple of times I was able to access the Ledge main page, but couldn't get any further than that.

:laugh: I usually work for 15 min or 5 pages, whichever comes first, check a few messages and repeat. It helps me get through what is sometimes the tedium of my job. I almost didn't make it today! :lol: Nice to see y'all. And if Nancy's site was down too then something is definitely fishy. :mad:

I used to do that, but then it shows you being "present" on the Ledge 24/7, which, makes it look like you don't have a life, or are more than a little obsessed. :o :o :o :xoxo:

Yeah, I have a habit of keeping a browser open with the Ledge in it so it does look like I am always on. :o Oops.

I try to always hit my home page (the Weather Channel, how lame is that?- HEY I've got 6 acres I mow- I need to know if it's going to rain!), when I'm done at the Ledge, so I don't look like the above mentioned "loser". :lol: :lol: :lol:

I actually emailed Daniel finally over at his site (because it was one of the few I could get onto). I figured there was something up when I couldn't get on here or on Nancy's... He wrote back, said he thought it probably was a server problem, since he couldn't get on either. Ah... the comfort of fellow addictees.... :)

I have been having the same problem as well. I finally got in today after my fourth or fifth try over several hours. :shrug: I hope it isn't the hackers again. :mad:
